The vast open world of Dark Souls 3 has areas swarming with enemies and bosses ready to give you a hard time. One of the enemies you will encounter in the first main area of the game is Lothric Wyvern. It is located in the High Wall of Lothric, near the second bonfire.
Unlike most enemies you face in the game, you can not kill Lothric Wyvern the usual way. So, you will have to put aside your sword and try some other gear that will surely work. You encounter the enemy pretty early in the game, and killing it is not compulsory to move forward to the next area. However, if you are determined to slay it, you can find all you need to know here.

How To Kill The Wyvern
First, let’s clear one thing: killing the Wyvern is not possible. However, you can hit the enemy to the extent that it leaves the area, dropping the loot in the way. You will first face the enemy sitting on top of one of the castles in the High Wall of Lothric. Getting near the Wyvern will make it spew fire across the bridge.
It throws fire to the upper or lower area depending on where you are trying to move through. You can use this to your advantage to clear off the enemies in the areas blocking your path.
To “kill” Lothric Wyvern, you need a bow and arrows as you will be shooting at it from a distance. The enemy has around 2,400 base health, and one arrow does around 50 damage. Therefore, you will need more than 50 arrows of any kind to kill this creature.
Using the fire arrows is recommended as they do more damage, making the enemy go down faster.
Once you have stacked the arrows, you will need to make your way to the bridge in the High Wall of Lothric, where the Wyvern resides. Once you reach there, run across the area to the left side as fast as possible, so the Wyvern does not burn you with its fire breath.
Once you reach the left side, take out your bow and arrow, and start shooting the body of the Wyvern. Whenever the creature takes damage, it will spew fire, so make sure you are out of the area when the time comes.
After taking out almost 2,500 health, the Wyvern will fly off, and you will get a Large Titanite Shard. After the Wyvern flies away, you can go to the upper area to find more loot, such as a Large Soul of a Deserted Corpse, a Claymore, a Raw Gem, and more.
