However, not all the Pokemon are old, and you’ll be able to encounter the new flagship Legendary Pokemon, Terapagos. This pokemon holds the secret behind the first exploration of Area Zero and its famed Treasure, and here we tell you everything about it!

Beating The BB League

The main character, Carmine, Kieran, and Briar in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

The first step of this process is finishing the first part of The Indigo Disk’s main story, which is finishing the BB League. After beating the Elite Four you’ll have to battle Champion Kieran, and once you defeat him, Briar will take you, Kieran, and Carmine to the Area Zero, to find the true Treasure within it.

How To Get Terapagos

Once you’re in Area Zero, you must defeat several Stellar Tera-Type Pokemon in a new section under Area Zero, until you find Terapagos, dormant inside a crystal. Before you can react, Kieran will capture it, which will trigger a short battle against him and Terapagos in Terastal form.

However, Terapagos will end up losing control and breaking Kieran’s Master Ball, thus becoming wild again and challenging you in a battle against you, Carmine, and Kieran. Defeat this final boss, and you will be able to have a guaranteed capture, similar to a Tera Raid.
