Survivor Fans Recreate Rey, Windu, And Sidious’ Lightsabers

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order fans have been eagerly awaiting Cal Kestis and his merry band of exiles in Survivor, a sequel set five years after the events of the first game. While the main story is obviously the big attraction, players are looking for other ways to have fun. And one feature has become one of the most popular “mini-games”, so to speak.

This would be a bench where players could tinker and adjust their lightsabers. The lightsaber bench has become popular among fans, as demonstrated by one recent thread on the FallenOrder subreddit, where a player showed how they recreated the lightsabers of various characters from the Star Wars franchise.

User GivenumDaBiznes, who showed off his sabers, said they can spend hours in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor just customizing lightsabers and recreating famous ones from other Star Wars games, movies or TV shows. With an impressive collection of slides, the OP definitely did a good job.

I love the saber bench in this game, I can spend hours on it alone creating lightsabers from other games/movies/shows.

Among his recreations are Luke Skywalker’s green saber from Episode 6, Darth Vader’s menacing red, Ben Kenobi’s old-school blue number, Yoda’s minimalistic green saber, Darth Sidious’s saber, Darth Revan’s weapon from Knights of the Old Republic, Rey’s yellow lightsaber from The Sequel to War trilogy stars and Mace Windu’s famous purple lightsaber.

But fans note that Respawn could make certain additions to the game to make lightsaber crafting more convenient, and one commenter asked if the game has the ability to save different saber designs. “Unfortunately no, I have to go back and recreate each time,” replied the OP. “I love tinkering on the bench, but it would be nice to have a ‘save saber’ feature.”

That’s not the only change fans want. The second is about lightsaber combat with players looking to switch more easily between the five stances. However, PC players can significantly change the gameplay if they download a mod that made it easier to switch between the five positions.

Others wanted to know how the OP recreated the lightsabers, asking for Mace Windu’s, Rey’s, and Darth Sidious’ lightsaber parts for example. Thankfully, the OP provided a list detailing each character’s transmitter, switch, handle, and handle parts. You can find that list here. Additionally, the OP provided details on the parts for Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, which can be found here. A scan through the linked thread above has details for other OP saber recreations as well. In other news, Survivor players are turning their lightsabers into Nerf guns.
