8 Tokino Sora

Tokino Sora shows two fingers on her Idol Showdown portrait.

Tokino Sora is marked as a Virtuous Pure Idol with an advanced star rating in Idol Showdown. Her abilities are fairly balanced with her offensive and zonal categories slightly improved over speed, damage and defense.

Unfortunately, she is a lower-ranked fighter. Her move list pales in comparison to her balanced skill categories. While Sora does well in ranged combat, she is completely ineffective up close. This is where most other fighters shine, so she will have trouble maintaining range and utility.

7 Inugami Korone

Inugami Korone smiles and raises his hands in his Idol Showdown portrait.

The retro fighting dog known as Inugami Korone is considered a very durable brawler. It only has a 1-star difficulty level, which is beginner and is the lowest in Idol Showdown. Beginners will have fun with high attack, speed and defense abilities.

However, Korone’s style is very aggressive. You have to constantly attack to really deal damage. One block with the counterattack of the opponent and Korona will become useless. If you can keep attacking you’ll be fine, but it’s a tough job.

6 Shirakami Fubuki

Shirakami Fubuki holds one hand raised like a claw in her Idol Showdown portrait.

Shirakami Fubuki is known as the versatile fox spirit. Her stats are mainly focused on damage and defense. This entry-level character is great for learning the ropes, but you’ll quickly grow into a more advanced fighter. And you should really strive for it.

Despite her versatility, Fubuki doesn’t stand out compared to the other characters. Her moveset also relies on a bit of luck. Her specials are pretty powerful, but they’re completely random. You can get the super powerful version or the basic version that you think is a waste.

5 Hoshimachi Suisei

Hoshimachi Suisei looks over her shoulder and brings a finger to his lips in his Idol Showdown portrait.

The hardest character to master in Idol Showdown is definitely Hoshimachi Suisei. Many of you immediately push her aside. It’s understandable, but if you can learn her advanced techniques, you’ll have a great character that opponents won’t expect.

Due to Suisei’s sheer chaos in battle and trying to control her, she is not considered one of the best fighters. It wastes a lot of time, but the star chic idol can be a nightmare to deal with up close with its massive attack and speed stats.

4 Kiryu Coco

Kiryu Coco's hair is blowing wildly as she thumbs at herself in her Idol Showdown portrait.

Kiryu Coco is the 4th President of the Kiryu Clan. Her mid-star rating in Idol Showdown is accompanied by solid offense and defense, along with incredible damage. Unleash has a ton of special moves that will whittle down your opponent’s health in no time.

Her biggest weakness is speed. If you don’t move back to avoid enemy attacks before sending your own, anyone will smash Kiryu Coco at high speed. This makes him a high-risk, high-reward fighter. Once you’ve mastered her combos, you’ll be almost unstoppable.

3 Nakiri Ayame

Nakiri Ayame winks at her Idol Showdown portrait.

The Play Giggling Ojou known as Nakiri Ayame is considered a fighter with “Nonstop Oni Offense.” Her speed is the highest you can find in Idol Showdown, complemented by a high attack rate and acceptable defense. This is the best fighter for beginner players.

She wields two katanas in combat, allowing her to strike from a greater distance than most short-range fighters. It also allows you to close in on your opponents much faster, as the stun from the katana strike opens the door for a variety of combos. Powerful combos and counter attacks that are easy to learn make it a great choice.

2 Aki Rosenthal

Aki Rosenthal smiles and raises a gloved hand in her Idol Showdown portrait.

Aki Rosenthal, a half-elf from another world, boasts high attack and zone stats. The other categories are commendable as well. Her balance and moves are hard to beat for any opponent. This is due to her wide range of teleportation attacks.

If you take Rosenthal into a hololive fight in Idol Showdown, you can roll towards an enemy, teleport behind them, or strike and teleport away to safety. She has almost no weaknesses, which makes her all the more difficult to deal with.

1 Shishiro Botan

Shishiro Botan stares grimly at his Idol Showdown portrait.

Shishiro Botan quickly rose to the top spot in Idol Showdown. Special Forces La~Lion has good speed, high damage, and unmatched zone stats. At the same time, she is the most versatile and powerful fighter in the game.

Botan deals high damage with both melee and ranged attacks. It gives you the chance to play it your own style. You don’t have to use Shishiro Botan in a single way, which makes her very unpredictable and difficult to counter. Use this to your advantage and you’ll see why it’s number one.
