Crafton has unveiled the May 2023 update for its familiar Battle Royale the game New State Mobile, available on iOS and Android devices. This update introduces a series of exciting additions, including a revamped mode called Bounty Royale, weapon and ammo improvements, improved graphics and the introduction of a new survivor pass. These features are intended to improve the overall gaming experience for players.
The May 2023 update includes a rework of Bounty Royale and higher graphics options
One of the main features of this update is the revamp of the popular game mode called Bounty Royale. In this new version, the involvement of AI players has been removed to increase the enjoyment and intensity of the shooting battles. Up to 32 human players now have the opportunity to create teams and compete against each other, without AI characters involved.
The goal is to collect team points by collecting data from Devices to create scattered across the battlefield or by completing missions. When a player’s character is eliminated, they drop some of their collected data for other players to pick up. Players have the benefit of unlimited redeployment upon death. Teams that fail to collect a certain amount of data are eliminated, and the surviving team is ultimately the winner. Bounty Royale is available for 8 hours every day from 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM IST.
In addition to revamping the gameplay, the update introduces higher-quality graphics options that are now available on high-spec devices. Gamers using devices that support 90 frames per second can now select enhanced graphics settings, resulting in an improved visual experience and overall immersion.

There is a new weapon in the game called MG5 was introduced. The MG5 is a powerful light machine gun (LMG) that uses 7.62mm ammunition. You can find it on all maps in the game New State Mobile. Players have the option to improve the MG5’s performance by equipping it A dedicated extended mag an adjustment that increases magazine capacity from 50 rounds to 100 rounds. However, using this customization affects the reload speed of the weapon.
Another customization change was made for the Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR), known as the SLR. Instead of the previous adjustments, SLR now offers Incendiary charges. When enemies are hit with an incendiary charge, they take damage that lasts for 6 seconds, reducing their ability to aim accurately.
In addition to these updates, the game released a new Survivor Pass called Vol.19. The protagonist of this pass is Blocker from the GLC faction. By completing all the walkthroughs, players can earn rewards and obtain the Blocker character skin. Users who upgrade to a legacy pass also have the option of repurchasing Imperial Guard.
