- Duplication method: splicing with a bow
- Duplication method: windsurfing or paragliding
Inside The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Realm, there are several ways to make better use of the system, and as tight as Hyrule’s resources can be since the turn, you may want to take every advantage you can get. There is no greater improvement to the system than endless duplication errors, and if you’re not a fan of one, you’re in luck. There are two!
Which method you prefer depends on your preferences in terms of difficulty of execution, time consumption and durability of the item. If you’re stingy with your guards or really bad at pressing multiple buttons at once, you might prefer the bow method. But if you’re in a hurry and don’t like duplicating one by one, you’ll probably like the shield method better.
Duplication method: splicing with a bow
For the arc method you will i just need:
- The item you want to duplicate
- One bow
- One arrow
The method itself is a a bit complicatedand get used to it it will take some time and practice. You’ll probably have to try a few times to get the first duplicate successful, but once you get into the groove, you’ll be duplicating items left and right.
to start take out your bow by quickly pressing ZR. With the bow extended, press up on the D-pad, yes open your item merge menu. Scroll through the items until find the item you want to duplicate and select it.
Once your item is connected to your bow, you can now open your inventory and go to the bows section.
Lower the bow hold and then equip the second bow.
Now, that’s it the hardest part methods. Speed ββis the name of the game here Shutting down for a split second will not cause duplication.
Press + twice very quickly to close and open the menu. This will bring you back to the bows section where you need to be lower the second bow The link is now valid. Press + again.
If you were successful, you should see arcs lying directly on top of each other. If you fail, the bows will lie next to each other.
Pick up the bowsand the item you duplicated (if successful) will now be visible in your inventory.
You can use this method endlesslyand there is there is no limit to the amount you can double per item. You can duplicate 100 diamonds and you can still continue to duplicate.
That is it is not a quick methodhowever, it takes a small amount of time to achieve.
It is for this reason much less effective than the method belowbut it’s still a good way to duplicate items when you don’t have a shield or a safe place to jump from.
Duplication method: windsurfing or paragliding
For the windsurfing/paragliding technique, you will need:
- One shield or your paraglider
- At least one item to duplicate
- A high place from which you can safely jump
There are many places to choose from. Link’s house is a good choice since the terrain is flat (your items won’t roll), the color palette means you’re unlikely to visually miss your items, and there are no enemies nearby.
However, this location will mean your shield will gradually lose durability when you use this method.
If you care about weapon durability, you can use this method in places like Gerudo Town or Tabantha Tundra from snow and sand do not reduce the durability of the shield.
It can also be simple use your paraglider to avoid it altogether. The method is the same; it is simply your preference.
Starting from the chosen high place, to jump by pressing X and pull out your paraglider. Another option is to use A and ZL start surfing on the shield.
Press + in the air to open your inventory and select as many as five items to duplicate.
The tricky part about this is that when you select items, you have to press Y and B exactly at the same time. Failure to do so will result in you dropping all your items without duplicating them.
When you fall, you can open your inventory and duplicate as many items as you want before you fall to the ground.
If you duplicate five elements at once and double three times, you will end up with an additional 15 duplicate elements when you hit the ground (which means you’re done with your inventory showing a total of 30 items).
Pick up any materials you dropped from the floor.
If you want to, you can climb again and repeat this process as many times as you want. If you’re fast enough, you can double as many as 100 diamonds (or any other item) in less than five minutes. It is terribly effective, relatively safe and moderately easy to implement.
