Delta Goodrem spotted hanging out with Sarah Ferguson in London

Australian singer Delta Goodrem was spotted hanging out with Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.

The quirky duo were photographed in central London, where they were seen chatting to each other on the street alongside a group of friends.

Ferguson – who was married to Prince Andrew for six years until they split in 1992 – wore a smart black blazer for the outing, while Goodrem looked dapper in a chestnut jacket and tailored trousers.

It is not known how the couple know each other.

Goodrem, 39, is currently in the UK ahead of her appearance at the Mighty Hoopla festival at Brockwell Park in London on June 2.

Ferguson, who is the mother of Princesses Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, has maintained a close relationship with the British royal family despite her divorce from Andrew in 1996.

The 64-year-old, affectionately known as ‘Fergie’, attended the royal Christmas church service at Sandringham last year with King Charles III. and colleagues, which marked her first appearance at the annual outing in more than 30 years.

Shortly after her appearance at Sandringham, Ferguson posted a picture of herself, Beatrice and Eugenie on Instagram with the caption that she was feeling “grateful”, in what appeared to be a subtle nod to her royal inclusion.

“Today we enjoy each other’s company and feel grateful. I hope everyone has a wonderful day,” she wrote.

“Merry Christmas to all who celebrate and annual greetings to all!”

Ferguson also attended an Easter service at Windsor Castle in March.

It’s been a tumultuous few months for the royals.

The headlines came in January when it was revealed that Ferguson had been diagnosed with skin cancer, just six months after undergoing a mastectomy to treat breast cancer.

Catherine, the Princess of Wales, underwent abdominal surgery that month and subsequent tests revealed she had an undisclosed form of cancer, which the mother-of-three revealed in a heartbreaking video in mid-March after weeks of rampant conspiracies about her whereabouts.

Buckingham Palace said the king was diagnosed with an unspecified cancer in February after the monarch underwent a routine procedure for an enlarged prostate.
