Slovenia’s government endorses recognition of a Palestinian state, sends to parliament for approval

LJUBLJANA, Slovenia: On Thursday, the Slovenian government supported the initiative for the recognition of a Palestinian state and called on the DZ to do so. Prime Minister Robert Golob said that his government has sent the proposal for recognition to the DZ, which could meet as early as next week. “The whole world should work towards peace,” Golob said after the government meeting. “The way to achieve peace is a two-state solution.”
