Shein pop up store to open in Perth

Popular online fast fashion brand Shein is coming to Perth for the first time ever.

For three days only, crafty shoppers can browse the SHEIN AIR-themed pop-up store, which will be the online brand’s first physical store in Perth.

The store “will feature Shein’s wide range of on-trend, affordable fall/winter clothing and accessories for all genders and ages in one place, plus plus size, as well as some of Shein’s latest collections for beauty, home, electronics, shoes and even cute pet clothes pets,” according to the brand’s Facebook event.

Shoppers will be able to browse products from various Shein collections including “Shein EZWear”, “PRIVE”, “ICON”, “VCAY”, “CLASI” and “ROMWE”.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy a live DJ, beauty bar, “photo moments” and free events.

The Perth pop-up isn’t the first time Shein has briefly opened a brick-and-mortar store in Australia, with stores previously popping up for a limited time in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Despite criticism of its fast-fashion model, Shein is growing in popularity, with market research firm Roy Morgan finding that the brand has almost 800,000 shoppers each month in Australia for clothing and accessories alone.

According to Roy Morgan, the ultra-cheap online-only Chinese brand is “on track to reach $1 billion in annual sales, which is expected to grow now that Shein has expanded into categories beyond apparel.” .

Shoppers can visit the Shein pop-up store at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Center in Perth’s northern suburbs.

On June 21, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., on June 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on June 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
