Brad Pitt ‘aware and upset’ daughter Shiloh dropped his last name: ‘Pains him’

Brad Pitt is reportedly “aware and upset” that his and Angelina Jolie’s first biological daughter, Shiloh, has dropped his last name.

“He realizes and is upset that Shiloh dropped his last name. He had never felt more joy than when she was born. He always wanted a daughter,” the source said People on Monday.

“Reminders that he lost his children are of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It is very sad.”

An insider noticed it though Martial arts club the actor is “happy” with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon, the separation from his six children “hurts” him.

Another source told the publication: “He still loves all of his children immensely. The whole process was very difficult for the whole family.”

Sixth page reached out to a representative for Pitt for comment, but he did not immediately hear back.

On Shiloh’s 18th birthday on May 27, she filed to have “Pitt” legally removed from her name.

Although the teenager’s name has not yet been approved, her new nickname will be “Shiloh Jolie”.

People first noticed that Shiloh had dropped her father’s last name to the The Outsiders Playlist last month.

The dancer, who helped mum Jolie, 48, produce the Broadway show, is said to be listed as “Vivienne Jolie” in a theater magazine.

Shiloh isn’t the only one of the star’s children to ditch his last name.

Last year, Zahara dropped the “Pitt” from her name during her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority induction ceremony at Spelman College in Atlanta.

During the estate, the 19-year-old was called “Zahara Marley Jolie.”

And in 2021, Us Weekly reported that Pitt and Jolie’s son Maddox, 22, “is not using Pitt as his last name on documents that are not legal and is using Jolie instead.”

The Mr and Mrs Smith the co-stars are also the parents of 20-year-old Pax and 15-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

It’s unclear when the children became estranged from Pitt, 60, but Pax reportedly called her estranged father “world class” in a post on Father’s Day 2020.

“You have no consideration or empathy for your 4 youngest children who tremble with fear in your presence,” he reportedly continued, apparently referring to a 2016 incident in which Pitt allegedly became “verbally abusive and physical with your children” on board a private jet.

The Maleficent the actress filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016, claiming full custody of their six children.

Although the former couple was declared single in 2019, their divorce proceedings are still ongoing.
