TV star Mamie Laverock’s body ‘shattered’ in 5-storey fall

The family of Hallmark star Mamie Laverock is va GoFundMe update that her body was “crushed” when she fell from a five-story building last month.

“Now I’m focusing on Mamie’s surgery today. Her body is broken. She went through two 11 hour surgeries with two doctors working on her, a three hour surgery and another surgery today,” the family recently wrote.

“We are grateful for the doctors and nurses who have provided exemplary care for her since May 26.”

The When the heart calls the actress’ family said she was “fine” compared to when she arrived at the hospital. However, he is “experiencing tremendous pain.”

“We can only cling to the miracles of each day and continue to thank everyone for their prayers and marvel at the miracles of her story. Our daughter loves her life and her family and fights hard every day,” they concluded.

The 19-year-old’s loved ones first announced on May 11 that she had a “medical emergency.”

Laverock’s mother, Nicole Compton, said she “was able to get there in time and save her [daughter’s] life” and transported her to a local hospital.

Laverock was later transferred to a medical center in Vancouver, where her condition was described as “unclear” but showing “signs of improvement.”

However, the family reported that the “Dream Wedding” star was “escorted from the secure ward of the hospital and taken to the balcony from which she fell five stories.”

“She suffered life-threatening injuries, underwent several extensive surgeries and is currently on life support. We are all devastated, in shock at this extremely difficult time,” their GoFundMe page said.

After the surgeries, Laverock’s family said he was “doing well.”

“We couldn’t be happier. Thank you all for your support,” they wrote.

As of this post, the GoFundMe has raised over $35,000.
