Taylor Swift giggles over lyric during Eras tour acoustic set

Taylor Swift showed her future.

On Sunday night, the pop star surprised concertgoers at the Eras Tour in Lyon, France with a medley Fifteen and You’re alone, kid during her acoustic set.

While singing the chorus of the hit from her 2008 album No fearfans noticed that Swift couldn’t contain her excitement when she mentioned her former relationship with the football player.

“But you’ll do things in life that are bigger than / Dating a boy from the football team,” she sang through a smile. “But I didn’t know that at fifteen.”

In a video shared on X, the 34-year-old could be seen blushing and giggling as the crowd cheered along to the line, drawing parallels to her romance with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

“Mute her smile during ‘you’re going to do more things than date a guy on the football team,'” wrote one fan.

“Turns out you can do multiple things AND date a guy on the football team (only she didn’t know that at fifteen),” another user added.

“Taylor smiled and was giddy between ‘you’re going to do bigger things in life than dating a guy on the football team’ because it’s ironic that she ended up with a football player after writing those lines as a teenager, ” said the third. “he’s also cute. no hidden meaning.”

Swift gave a special shout-out to the couple’s three oldest daughters — 9-year-old James, 7-year-old Inez and 4-year-old Betty — during the concert.

“I have to say that in ‘Folklore,’ some of my favorite characters are called James, Inez and Betty,” the singer, who famously used the couple’s daughter’s names in her songs, told the crowd.

Just like their parents, the three girls seemed to be having the time of their lives at the concert.
