Kazimiya Hatim, 104, named as oldest Hajj pilgrim

JEDDAH: A 104-year-old woman from Iraq has been identified as the oldest Hajj pilgrim to visit the Kingdom this year. Kazimiya Hatim was received with great fanfare when she arrived at the Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina on May 25. More than 33,000 Iraqi pilgrims are expected to visit Saudi Arabia during the Hajj period. Iraqi agent Ali Abd Al-Rida Khazim accompanied Kazimiya from Medina to Mecca on the Al-Haramain train after visiting the Prophet’s Mosque.
