Megan Thee Stallion breaks down on-stage as AI sex tape circulates

Megan Thee Stallion choked back tears on stage in Tampa, Florida during her Hot Girl Summer tour.

Fan video captured the rapper looking overcome with emotion midway through her concert at the Amalie Arena on Saturday night.

The 29-year-old Houston native can be seen dropping her head and taking a deep breath to compose herself before launching into her hit song “Cobra.”

But even as the song begins, Megan struggles to perform the lyrics, fanning her face with her hand and covering her eyes to keep from crying.

It is not clear what prompted the Grammy winner to break down in tears, but the vulnerable moment followed rumors that an AI-generated sex tape purporting to show her likeness had circulated online.

The rapper appears to have blasted a “fake ass” video on X earlier in the day.

“It’s really painful how you will go out of your way to hurt me when you see me winning. Going too far fake ass s**t,” she posted. “Just know that today was your last day playing with me and I mean it.”

Although Megan has yet to address her hiccups on stage, she thanked her Tampa fans for their love and support after Saturday’s performance.

“TAMPA HOTTIES! Thank you I love you! Your energy was everything! I love these beauties,” she captioned the video montage on Instagram on Sunday.

The reports of the AI-generated sex tape come just over a month after Megan’s legal team dismissed the “salacious allegations” made by her former cameraman Emilio Garcia.

In April, Garcia sued the rap star — born Megan Pete — alleging she had sex with the woman in his presence and created a toxic work environment.

He further claimed that the alleged sexual incident had a negative impact on his mental health and led to “increasing anxiety, depression and physical distress”.

Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, has denied the allegations, telling Page Six exclusively, “This is a job-for-money claim — with no sexual harassment lawsuit filed and vile allegations made to embarrass her. We will solve this in court.”

In recent years, Megan has also faced ridicule from several male hip-hop artists — including Eminem, 50 Cent and Drake — after accusing Tory Lanez of shooting her in the foot in 2020.

Lanez, 31, was found guilty in December 2022 of one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm; carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

The singer, born Daystar Peterson, was sentenced to 10 years behind bars in August 2023. He is currently serving time at North Kern State Prison in Delano, California.
