You already have access to quite a few EX moves, and all of them are great in their own way. Your playstyle and team composition will actually determine which moves you’ll mostly gravitate towards, although a few stand out as must-haves for most players who want to be the best.

10 Chains of guilt

Chains of Guilt EX Move

One of the first EX moves you’ll get access to is also one that most players probably still use. Cody’s Chains Of Guilt is a simple move that targets and damages the lowest health opponent.

The actual damage of this potentially finishing move is based on the highest attack on your team and just multiplies from there based on the level of the move. It can be particularly useful because it also reduces the target’s speed by a set amount and time depending on the level of movement.

9 Nature’s Advent

Nature's Advent EX Move

Sakura’s Nature’s Advent is another early EX Move that most people probably continue to use just for its useful healing properties. This move repeatedly heals a percentage of your fighter’s total health while also increasing their defense.

These effects only increase as you move up the tier, meaning it only gets more powerful. This skill is useful in both PvE and PvP play and works well with almost any team you could try.

8 Toxic love

Toxic Love EX Move

Poison’s move is another easy way to deal some extra damage to your enemies, but this move has the added potential benefit of casting a charm. This move deals a large amount of damage based on your team’s average attack.

When the move affects a fighter, you will have a 40% chance to inflict a charm for a few seconds on the weakest move, but you can increase it to increase the chance of inflicting and the length of the effect.

7 Tanuki Whirl

Tanuki Whirl EX Move

Tanuki Whirl is another EX Move that you can get after at least a month of playing the game. If you’re looking for a special move that can hit all your enemies, Tanuki Whirl might be just what you’ve been missing.

This move damages the entire enemy team by a small percentage of your team’s average attack. While this isn’t amazing, its added ability to cause armor breakage is definitely a must when you want to open up your enemies to some serious damage.

6 Crimson Lotus Flame

Crimson Lotus Flame EX Move

If you’re a big fan of Ken, you’ll probably want to unlock Crimson Lotus Flame as soon as possible, and you couldn’t be blamed for that, as it’s a good EX move. Missile barrage deals a huge percentage of damage to your enemies based on your team’s average attack.

Each hit of the move has a small chance of causing burn to the enemy team, and of course, the more you level up the skill, the higher the damage and burn chance. If you use a fire team, this move can also boost your fire fighters at higher levels.

5 Breath Of Rage

Breath Of Rage EX Move

While some people may be a little put off by Breath Of Rage at first glance, the risky move can also pay off big. Your fighters will lose ten percent of their health, but will receive a ten percent increase in attack rate and critical hit rate for a few seconds.

Effective time and boosts can increase as you level up, leading to even more havoc. If you want to run through your enemies with a sudden power boost, this is a great skill to activate before unleashing a massive combo.

4 On Of A Thousand Hits

On Of a Thousand Hits EX Move

Akuma’s unique EX Move doesn’t seem to be fully established yet. While it can create some great conditions, it’s possible that at some point people will find the best way to take advantage of its effects.

This move gives your strongest character Deva status, allowing you to continuously increase that fighter’s attack until the end of the fight. This allows you to get as low as 15% attack boost and as high as 28. Additionally, you can receive additional flame and soul damage.

3 Gore Charcoal Blast

Gore Magala Blast EX Move

People may be a little bothered by the limited nature of this move, as it was tied to a Monster Hunter crossover event. It’s possible that in the future there will be an easy way to earn a move, but right now most people won’t be able to get access to this awesome attack.

Due to the pay-to-win nature of this attack, it deals massive damage while removing and parrying. You can increase critical hits and eliminate enemy defense if you have a combo ready when you activate this attack.

2 Vigilante

Check out EX Move

This great little EX move from Chun-Li is one that most people won’t have access to unless they put in some serious effort, but it’s worth it. Basically, the move summons a drone onto the field to deal damage every time you use the skill.

The damage the move does isn’t amazing, but what will make you want the move is that it fills your super combo gauge by 50 when used. Someone with a creative mind will know how to make great use of this dynamic move.

1 Crazy potato

Crazy Potato EX Move

If you already use and love Nature’s Advent, you’ll probably be asking for Crazy Potato. This is another healing move, but this one adds a layer of protection to your fighters with a solid shield that can last quite a while.

This move will give your team a five percent heal, but a nearly ten second shield equivalent to ten percent of your fighter’s health is something incredible. You will be able to tank super combos even if you don’t have a tank in your team.
