To find the room, exit the Healing Suite in the corridor with distribution box and fire doors on opposite sidesthen use the STD Access Card to open the door just ahead, just to the west.

In these areas, you have to kill the Repair Bot and several humanoid mutants. We recommend you equip the Berserk Patch to kill the Repair Bot and rush the medical gamma quadrant.


After reaching the southernmost room with the Transderm Dispenser, go east and unlock the room facing north. You’ll find a humanoid mutant and a briefcase with a Group-1 (GP1) access card..


A Group-1 (GP1) Access Card can be used in the Gamma Quadrant area to unlock a small area containing Audio log and loot. You’re in the right place if you see the food dispenser and the Blast Door gamma quadrant which leads to the Central Hub.

The Personal-1 (PER1) access card can be found in Medical Central Hub and can be reached by following the path from the Gamma Medical Quadrant or by using the elevator in the central hub.

You will have to kill Elite Cyborg Drones guard the room and turn on the Research Beta Quadrant area before you can access the area. To do this, turn the second switch to the left of the four power switches located in the Research Alpha Quadrant.

Group-3 (GP3) access card.

The Group-3 (GP3) access card is located in the the CPE Node room within the Research Gamma Quadrant area. Get it before you destroy the CPU nodes and launch the Cyborg attack from SHODAN.


Crouch through the tunnel at the back of the room to get the vent and pick up the Group-3 Access Card (GP3) from a dead employee of Citadel Station.

Engineering (ENG) Access Card

System Shock: Engineering Access Card

The engineering (ENG) access card is the last access card you can pick up at research level. You will find it by crawling through the vent unlocked by the Junction Box puzzle in the Delta Quadrantwhich takes you to a small room in the Central Hub area.

After taking the engineer card, you can open the exit door and follow the path forward to a weapon mod station and a teleporter which takes you to an experimental room in the Research Beta Quadrant.

Group B access card found to the dead employee in the Live Feed Room on the second floor. This area can be reached by using the blue elevator to reach the extraction area.


Once you have the Group B access card, you will be able to unlock the room in the hallway outside of the live stream room. take the four proximity mines and the battery.

Security (SEC) access card

The security level features mutated cyborgs, cyborg blackmailers, and flying attack robots, so make sure you stock up on ammo. The Security (SEC) access card can be found on the third floor of the security level.


To get to Security Access Card, use the elevator directly south of the experiment room on the second floor. Go across the red light bridge and wrap around the next room to enter the small office facing it the north.


You can find the security access card by opening the briefcase Jac Van Dyk’s office arranges for you to pick up an audio diary.

Personal-5 (PER5) access card.

System Shock: Diego dropped the Personal-5 (PER5) access card.

The Personal-5 (PER5) access card is dropped by boss Cyborg Diegowhich will appear on Upper floor security levels. To get to Diego, you have to first obtain a security access card.


Before entering the last room on the top floor, take some time to recharge your power, restore your health, and activate any consumable patches before challenging the cyborg Diego.


Diego has a lot of firepower at his disposal and will fire rockets and energy projectiles at you. He can kill you very easily in a few barrages, so use the pillars on either side of the center of the room to avoid his attacks.


Fortunately, you can get around Diego by staying under the edge. He will slowly walk towards you for a melee attack, so find a sweet spot where he fires projectiles. If he walks too far to one side, you can lose cover, so walk to the opposite side of the ledge.

Command (CMD) Access Card

To get a Command (CMD) access card, you must defeat the Cortex Reaver mini-boss at the end of the level.


Cortex Reavers are fast and deadly. They have a few weapons at their disposal, such as explosive missiles and energy blasts; however, their speed makes them difficult to kill. Proximity Mines and Accelerator Rail Gun work a treat on this bot.


The room has charging stationso drop the energy weapon on the Cortex Reaver.


The command access card is required to enter the last room fight with SHODAN.
