Clash Royale Chinese test server adds ladder mode which can ban cards

Players may be familiar with the concept of banning cards in some tournaments or events. Well, not many people are even thinking about this being introduced to a normal ladder, but a recent revelation has shown that tests have been done on banning ladder cards Chinese Clash Royale test server.

Banning ranked cards can open up some interesting matchups

Ladder mode or Trophy route has long been a mainstay of Clash Royale, allowing players to progress and compete against opponents of varying difficulty. It generally remains intact and depends on the level of the user to gain an advantage over the opponent.

There have been common complaints among the playerbase about the frequent use of a few overpowered cards, especially mid-ladder, resulting in players being tied to a certain deck and not skilled enough to experiment. However, the recent server test mode may make this more competitive than usual.

Twitter user Akina_CR revealed a test mode on a Chinese server where players ban certain cards from their opponents’ decks. Let’s say you’re using a log bait deck, but what if you’re banning logs? This is a wonderful strategy, but at the same time it tests the opponent’s abilities in the game. Think of your deck’s weakness and pick it.

The community found this interesting on Reddit as well. But we still don’t have a clear picture of how it is implemented. Again, this is just a test server open to a few creators, but it’s still very interesting to see if this ever makes it to the game.
