Persona 3 Reload And Persona 5 Tactica Trailers Leak Ahead Of Xbox Showcase

This article discusses the developing story. Stay tuned as we add more information as it becomes available.

Persona 3 Reload has been rumored for quite some time, and an announcement is expected at Xbox’s upcoming game show this Sunday. However, it appears as though a trailer for the title has been leaked on Instagram, showing off the game for the first time along with announcing an early 2024 release date.

During the trailer, we see confirmation of a bunch of different features, including a look at the newly revamped Tartarus Labyrinth and some combat. In fact, the fight looks very similar to the gameplay that was leaked not too long ago, showing Yakuri attacking a shadow with a bow. As for the life simulation elements, it looks to be heavily inspired by Persona 5, and we can see some of the game’s social connections.

While we don’t get to see all of the game’s main characters, we do see a brief clip of Aegis and scenes with Junpei and Yukari. It’s not known if Persona 3 Reload will feature a female pro-agonist in addition to the male in this remake, but a rumor from the other day suggested that it won’t be “final”, meaning FeS or Portable could be eliminated.

To make matters worse for Atlus, another Persona announcement was leaked at the same time, a new tactical game called Persona 5 Tactica. As the name suggests, he plays the popular Phantom Thieves in a new adventure in a mysterious palace. The art style is very different from what we’ve seen in the main Persona game so far, and we even get to see a bunch of gameplay showing off the battle system. Just like with Persona 3 Reload, we also get a release date for Persona 5 Tactica, which will launch on November 17th later this year.

To top it off, at the end of both trailers we also get confirmation that Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica will be available to play on Xbox Game Pass on launch day, which is a pretty big win for Xbox. Other platforms weren’t mentioned, but it’s likely that both games will launch on PlayStation, but Nintendo Switch is a bit of a mystery. Still, it looks like a good time for Persona fans, and we can look forward to the proper announcements this Sunday.
