How to start a Codger’s Brawl
To find and start this quest, you’ll need to first find Trissa in Kakariko Village.
She runs Produces a high mood, which is basically Kakariko’s grocery store. Unfortunately, you’ll see how little she has in stock when you first enter her store.
Talk to Trissa and she will ask you track down two people who went to fight the monsters on one of the A ring of ruins around the village of Kakariko. This will start the search.
How to complete the Codgers brawl
If you want to find two men, you will have to make your way to Nestled Ring Ruina little southwest of Kakariko village.
Take the southwest route from the village and then hill climbing will be the fastest way to the ruins.
If you have already accepted “A journey through history”, you can delete parts of each task at once.
If you approach the ruins from the north, you will encounter the men Trissa wanted to find, Steen and Olkin. Either listen to them argue about the best way to exorcise the monsters, or continue straight ahead and fight the monsters yourself.
When you enter the ruins, you will see three Bokoblins on the ground by the campfire and one bokoblin archer on top ruins.
They are here too more Zonai devices on top of the ruins, such as Flame Emitterwhich can be useful in your upcoming fight.
Once you clear all the Bokoblin you can go back to talk to Steen and Olkin. When they finally settled their differences, two codgers will return to the village.
You can find two treasure chests in the ruins of the Nestled Ring. The first chest is by the campfire and contains five Giant Brightbloom Seeds. The second chest is hidden behind a destructible rock wall in a hall nearby and contains a The Mighty Sword of Zonaita.
When you return to Kakariko Village and talk to Trissa, will be grateful for your efforts. High Spirits Produce is actually back in stock, so you’ll have more options if you ever want to do a little shopping here.
As a reward for your help, Trissa will give you Endura Korenček.
After the “Codgers’ Quarrel” quest is completed, Trissa has another puzzle to solve. Talk to her again to receive the “Follow the cuckoos” task you can do next.
