Supercell announced that as of September 1 this year, it will no longer be possible to disconnect a gaming account associated with Supercell ID. This information has also been emailed to most players who have linked their game accounts to Supercell’s data storage feature.
Players can make changes before the update goes live
Gamers may be familiar with Supercell ID, which is a free Supercell service that helps link game accounts and play across all your mobile devices. From enhanced security to seamless cross-device login, social interactions and customized features, Supercell ID provides a smoother and more rewarding gaming experience for you as a player.
You can protect your progress, achievements and game assets from loss or unauthorized access by linking your accounts. You can rest assured that your valuable gaming data is safe and secure with Supercell ID. Previously, for those who didn’t like the Supercell ID system, there was an option to play without linking your game account.
But now that the permanent change is in place, Supercell ID registrations will become binding. This means that once you sign up for a Supercell ID, your game account cannot be unlinked. However, before that, it is still possible to change your Supercell ID email address in the game settings.
To request a Supercell ID disconnection, players can contact Support for players before September 1, 2023. Supercell stated that the reason for this measure is to ensure the highest level of account security.
