Most villains in anime have such a desire for power that no matter how much they feed on, that is never enough. However, there are others whose actions are so questionable that they have stood up in a position where they consider themselves God.

Whether through their strength, intelligence or purely manipulation, these characters believe they are above humanity, and you see how often they justify their cruelty within their great purpose. Some characters were born to have such power, while others went to this false feeling of divinity.

Dio Brando is the perfect definition of a villain of starving power, whose first name in Italian can literally translate into God. Since its early days, the Joester family has been suffering from the rise as an immortal vampire, Dio is considered an undeniable opponent.

Doo's stand, the world, gives him the power to stop time and further strengthen his belief that he is for mortals. In addition, his ego is unlimited because he treats his followers as pawns and speaks a somewhat spectacular tone. Although he was shouting his infamous “Wryyyy”, Dio wears God's dress.

The biggest traitor to Soul Society, Sosuke Aizen, is one of the most smarter Bleach characters. Since the beginning of the show, its goal is to dismantle the Soul Society system and stand up as a new king of the soul.

Aizen was such a master that he only used his mind to manipulate people to prefer him. However, as soon as he is associated with Hogyok, his complex of God really rises to the level where he sees himself above humanity. He was so arrogant that even in his defeat Aizen simply believed that the world was not ready for his government.

The Mero, presented in the Arch of Chimera Ant, is considered to be the peak of evolution, over people and his own species. His initial interactions with humans have shown that he considers them weak and one -off. However, his exposition of Komgi, a blind girl, is gradually challenging his divine complex. Unlike most villains, the apartment has the development of the characters, but his belief in his own superiority will never disappear, which makes him a very complex character.

Griffith – Berserk

Griffith's rise to God is probably one of the most worrying moments in the history of Anime. Griffith, originally the leader of the Hawk group, has always dreamed of becoming a powerful ruler of his own kingdom.

He always had this feeling of superiority, where he never considered anyone his friend. His hunger for power eventually reaches such a level that he sacrifices his own friends to be born again as a femto, a member of God's hand. Thanks to this transformation, it forces it to completely separate it from the world and people when it fully involves its own divine status.

Originally mere homunculus manipulates the whole civilization to create a stone of a philosopher, allowing him to absorb the power of literal God. But even after he achieved what he wanted, he remained dissatisfied and wanted to completely get rid of human shortcomings.

With the note of death in his hands, a book that can kill anyone by simply writing his name, Light Yagami or Kira is considered a person who can free the world of criminals and be a judge.
