While many people seem to be enjoying their time with the massively popular shooter Arc RaiderSome players encounter enemies for whom camping at a mining site is part of their recipe for success. This is not a particularly uncommon phenomenon in titles such as Arc Raiderbut one player managed to share a funny clip showing how karma hit the camper in no time.
Due to the instant popularity of the game, some players initially experienced server problems Arc Raider shortly after starting the game. In an effort to fix the issue, Embark Studios quickly released a hotfix addressing many of the issues people were having. While many fans were happy to see the servers stabilized, Embark Studios went one step further and gave 500 Raider Tokens to every player who logged in on Sunday, November 2nd. Since then, things seem to have leveled off as fans regularly upload funny clips of their experiences playing the game.
In a recent post on Reddit, getaloaf appeared to be playing Arc Raider solo, they shared one such clip of being taken down by another player who was camping at a mining site. Shortly after being knocked to the ground, getaloaf saw an enemy player being attacked by some of the world's NPC enemies. The camper couldn't protect himself enough and ended up falling to the floor, causing them to crawl around. One can then see getaloaf rise to his feet at the computer, triggering the extraction sequence. As the camper desperately tried to crawl back into the extraction zone, the door slowly rose to prevent them from entering and preventing them from getting away with their evil deeds.
Despite the PvP element of the game, many players have also shared their enjoyable experiences Arc Raider. In fact, it was quite common to see clips of humans meeting, emoting with each other, and cheerfully working together as they battled the machines. However, there's no way to really know what experience players will have or who they'll encounter when they start a new match.
While the popular extraction shooter is still very new, Embark Studios has already taken the time to let players know what to expect from the game in the coming weeks and months. A recent plan for Arc Raider mentioned that players will gain access to the new Stella Montis map during November. There will also be an event to unlock the community along with new quests and in-game items. In December, fans can look forward to experiencing the snow map state, the Flickering Flames event, and even more quests to complete. With so much content to enjoy and even more around the corner, many fans are optimistic about the future Arc Raider.
