Eventually, ARC Raiders players find themselves hitting the game's level cap of 75 and wondering what comes next. This is the place ARC RaidersThe expedition mechanic comes into play, allowing players to essentially erase their current character and prestige, start from scratch with a new character that comes with certain bonuses.
Projects are unlocked once the player reaches level 20, so they can prepare for an expedition anytime after that. It may not always be worthwhile to undertake an expedition ARC Raiders players as it requires players to give up all progress on their current character. However, players who embark on an expedition in ARC Raiders will receive special bonuses that will last for the entire duration of the current expedition project cycle.
Unlike other extraction shooters, ARC Raiders it doesn't have forced character deletion and making an expedition is completely optional.
ARC Raiders allows players prestige with expeditions, but at a high cost
The expedition system works on an 8-week cycle where players who meet the expedition project requirements within that time frame can send their player away and restart with a new one. If you do so, players will receive any special bonuses offered for the remaining duration of the current cycle, as well as exclusive ARC Raiders cosmetics. Players who do not fully meet the expedition requirements during the current cycle will have their progress carried over to the next cycle, so it may be a good idea to prepare for an expedition before building a character at the start of a new cycle to maximize
ARC Raiders Expedition Requirements
To send a character away on an expedition, ARC Raiders players will have to fulfill the necessary requirements to complete the project. This requires collecting various materials spread out in different stages to prepare for the character's departure.

While this seems like a big ask for players who want to wipe their character and start over, they will still lose all of their items if they go on an expedition. The problem is trying to get all the materials needed before the end of the shipping window, but since project contributions are carried over between cycles, ARC Raiders players can contribute resources to this project over time and wait for the ideal expedition cycle before leaving.
The current expedition cycle lasts until December 14. Then the load phase runs from December 15th to 20th with a departure date of this cycle on December 21st.

Embark did not announce what specific benefits ARC Raiders will give players who take their character on an expedition, but current information points to exclusive cosmetics, a permanent increase in storage space, and other scrap materials. The developers have stated that Expeditions will not be designed to give players who choose to send their characters on one an unfair gameplay advantage. As such, players can expect most Expedition rewards to include cosmetics and quality of life upgrades.

The final verdict on expeditions in ARC Raiders
Is it worth it to go on the Expedition v ARC Raiders it largely depends on how the player wants to approach the game. Investing the resources needed to complete an expedition project is a huge task, but it can be the perfect goal for players who feel like they've seen it all. ARC Raiders has yet to offer. Additionally, if players want to try new ones ARC Raiders building and then clearing their current character with an expedition is the only way to restore their skill tree.
On the other hand, more casual players may not want to suffer through starting from scratch after investing so much time and effort into extracting ARC Raiders' rare loot like blueprints. If the player does not have time to devote to playing ARC Raiders throughout the Expedition Project cycle to reap the benefits of being an Expedition Enthusiast, then it may not be worth sacrificing all that hard work. While unlocking exclusive cosmetics can be tempting, players will have to weigh these rewards against the time and effort they've put into their character, and if they're willing to give it up with a reset.
