ARC RaidersThe servers seem to be down and players are reporting being stuck in a queue when trying to load the game. Embark Community Manager for ARC Raiders posted on the game's official Discord that the developer is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.
The new extraction shooter is making waves within the genre as an accessible entry for newcomers and genre veterans alike. It's unclear whether the sheer number of players trying to access the servers is the cause of the problems, or if it's just bad luck. ARC Raiders there was a successful server slam before launch, and the first few days of the game's life after its release on October 30th were relatively trouble-free with connectivity.
The ARC Raiders servers are currently down
As reported by ARCRaidersNews on X, the latest update from Embark states that the game is experiencing issues with its servers, voice chat, and party system. These issues seem to have started around 10am PST, with players reporting being kicked out of matches they were in and stuck in loading queues when trying to load back into the game. Players who can get into a match report partying with other players despite having crossplay off and queuing for solo ARC Raiders wrestle.
Despite ongoing server issues ARC Raiders still boasts a large number of concurrent players, with over 300,000 players now active on Steam alone. This game is currently the 4th most concurrently played game on Steam, just behind them Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2and Battlefield 6. All three of these games now have a free-to-play component Battlefield 6 RedSec dropped ARC Raiders Considering this is a paid experience, these player count numbers are an impressive feat.
WITH ARC Raiders with so much success just a few days after launch, it's not unexpected to experience server issues. No word yet on when ARC Raiders players can expect these connectivity issues to be resolved, but Embark provides updates via the game's official Discord.
There is also no mention of whether ARC Raiders players will receive any form of compensation for this outage. Meantime, ARC Raiders players can spend some time preparing to dive back into the Rust Belt and study some of them ARC RaidersTop tips and tricks and also see the layout of the game map.
