As seen on Amazon's product page, the new art book for the franchise is titled Assassin's Creed Black Flag Remaster. This is another piece of evidence that adds to the remake rumors, though it may reveal a much larger piece of information about the title. As mentioned earlier, Assassin's Creed Shadows had its artbook released five days after the game, with many previous entries having their artbooks released in similar windows. This new art book is currently up for pre-orders and is scheduled to be released on March 24th, 2026. If previous entries are anything to go by, and though the insider says fans will have to be patient Black flag remake, Assassin's Creed Black Flag the project could see release as early as March 19, 2026.
Oddly enough, this art book refers to the title as a remaster, not a remake, which is quite a difference. Remasters take an existing game and upscale the graphics to a higher resolution and sometimes add new textures and content, while remakes completely remake the game from the ground up, often in a new engine.
