On February 27, 2026, the official X (formerly Twitter) Wit Studio shared an image of the main cast of Attack on Titan. In the picture, Eren and the others were wearing clothes that were very different from their usual clothes. Naturally, the image has sparked widespread rumors and many people are suggesting it that a new Attack on Titan project could be in the works.
In all fairness, a new project seems the most likely outcome. However, fans should keep their expectations low as the chances of Attack on Titan receiving a massive project are slim.

Wit Studio is also working on One Piece Remake
The remake is still years away from release
In addition to the possible Attack on Titan project, Wit Studio is also currently working on a One Piece remake that was announced as early as 2024. Unfortunately, there is almost no real news about the project, suggesting that it is still in the early stages of production.
The studio has shared character designs and city models, but a trailer has yet to be revealed.
A small portion of the fan base was unhappy with the remake, seeing it as disrespectful to the original and completely unnecessary. However, this could not be further from the truth. Wit Studio's main task is to create an adaptation that appeals to a modern audience.
The latter in particular is the main problem with the original One Piece anime. Most of the time, the arcs are really drawn out, effectively killing fan interest. Hopefully, Wit Studio will share an update in the coming months.
