It seems very much that these days mascots are dead, with just a handful of more modern characters maintaining genre alive. Astro Bot, Mario, Sonic and now Donkey Kong has managed to make several excellent titles among them, while similar Kirby and Pac-Man do enough to keep relevant in today's landscape.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the western mascots of the platform, because Crash Bandicoot, Spyro The Dragon, Rayman and Banjo-Cazooi are either six feet below, or their graves dig when we speak. Bubsy was supposed to be there with them, almost like a mascot for the Mascot Platform rays, but thanks to some wild decision in Atari Bubsy is back in action.
During the start of Gamescom at the beginning of this week, we saw the brand new Bubsy. With the name Bubsy 4D, it looks like a very tongue in the face, a satire filled with a platform that knows well that Bubsy is responsible for various crime against childhood many around the world with Bubsy 3D. Unlike this game, however, this game actually looks quite decent.
Banjo Kazooi and Crash Bandicoot Fans don't take Bubsy 4D to reveal well
Despite the fact that the game looks pretty decent, almost every fan of a dead mascot platform computer takes a notice of how you could expect. Bubsy is considered a laughter in this industry, yet he has a new game before they took the social media as Banjo and Crash Bandicoot to express how confused, traumatized and passed that they were a return over Bubsy.
For example, a Twitter user called GasterDoggo is confused about how Bubsy and Spongebob are more active in a platform space than Banjo and Mega Man, while another user called AS_12239 said he would “lose” above Bubsy 4D. I hope they're doing well.
One fan took the messages so badly that they blocked the mega man on Twitter until a new game is announced, while there are also challenges to sign up for local Banjo fans to make sure they haven't done anything. In response, one particular image of Spider-Man wound on the bridge makes wheels, as well as the Danny Devito clip in always sunny. To say it honestly, no, they don't do well.
