The Multimach CCX was one of the most reliable SMGs Fate 2 when it comes to PvP, even though it has declined slightly since its glory days, this weapon can still compete in melee primary weapon fights to decent effect.
The following is a guide to the top three rolls players can get for Multimach. This weapon has very tough competition in the form of weapons like Shayura's Wrath or The Immortal v Fate 2but in the hands of a good player it can beat like before.

Best Multimach Rolls in Destiny 2
Multimach is mostly focused on PvP, but if you need a primary kinetic weapon, it works in PvE to a small extent. It's a Lightweight Frame SMG, which means you'll move a bit faster when holding it, and has better maneuverability than most other SMGs like No Survivors. Fate 2. Here are a few roles you'll want to look out for:

The Range/stability rolling it's great for players who prefer a weapon with consistent performance. Dynamic Sway Reduction and Tap The Trigger work in tandem to ensure your Multimach fires smoothly throughout the magazine by providing tons of stability, accuracy and recoil control. The rest is to maximize your range, something Multimach desperately needs.
The Killstreak roll is for players who want to keep their pace. Kill Clip lowers the Multimach's optimal TTK and makes body shots more forgiving, while Moving Target gives you extra Aim Assist and Reload Speed. Overall, this is a reliable momentum-based PvP roll that is commonly found with other weapons such as the Messenger Pulse Rifle.
There are much better SMGs than Multimach when it comes to PvE. However, if you really want to use this weapon outside of the Crucible, then roll with maximum range Wear balls and kinetic jitter should be a path. The latter can trigger the former, and if you're rocking a build that relies on Orbs of Power, then this roll should definitely be on your list of options.
Don't forget that the Multimach comes with Field-tested provenance propertywho gives it bonus stats. It will help with the weapon's low range stat, but before Field-Tested will give you any stacks, you have to either get kills or hit enemies enough times. Use this to offset the stat penalties given as a Full Bore.
