Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 or Warzone Players who subscribe to PlayStation Plus, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or PC Game Pass can now claim two free packs as part of the game's big Season 6 update. Both packs come with the previously released operator skin as well as a number of other cosmetic items that can be used in both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone.
WITH Black Ops 7 will be released on November 14, Call of Duty fans say goodbye Black Ops 6 as the 2024 shooter approaches the end of its life cycle. The servers will remain operational for those who wish to continue playing, but the recent Season 6 update for Black Ops 6 and Warzone will be his last seasonal update. The good news is that you can still look forward to the mid-season update with Season 6 Reloaded, which will bring even more content to both titles. A date for Season 6 Reloaded has yet to be confirmed, but the season schedule suggests it will include a new limited-time multiplayer game mode and Warzone.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is giving away two free packs
Call of Duty regularly gives away free packs as part of its new seasonal updates, but they have one catch. Although the packs are not available at no extra cost, they can only be claimed by players who subscribe to PlayStation Plus, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass. This is the case again with the game's latest Combat Pack, which includes the “Wicked Shrooms” and “Windfall” packs. Both can be picked up via the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store by searching for either “Call of Duty: Warzone – PlayStation Plus Pack 4” or “Call of Duty: Warzone – Game Pass Pack 4”, depending on the user's platform.
Both packs not only come with an operator skin that players can take Black Ops 6 or Warzonebut they also include a number of other cosmetic items such as weapon blueprints, emotes, finishing moves and more. Unfortunately, these cosmetic items and skin will be tied to last year's Call of Duty titles, as Activision recently confirmed the cancellation of its controversial Carry Forward feature for Black Ops 7. Due to community requests, players will no longer be able to import their purchased or earned operator skins Black Ops 7 this year.
The next Combat Pack giveaway comes at the end of the free trial week for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The shooter's free trial came right after EA released it Battlefield 6which allows fans to play the full campaign, multiplayer (excluding ranked) and zombies for free. Unfortunately, there are only a few hours left in the trial as it is set to end on October 16th at 10am PT.
