Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford is offering 3 new SHiFT codes through his X account: TZR3T-JZJKJ-WXJTC-T33TB-RFCFR, 3S6TT-CZJWT-WXJT5-3B3BJ-JS3JZand J96BJ-RZJWB-C6TJC-BBJJJ-5B5W9. These codes can only be redeemed for 48 hours after they were posted, which was around October 18th at 2:09pm PT, so the deadline is October 20th. Each of them grants one Golden Key that can only be used in Borderlands 4 to open a Golden Chest once, though each chest has the potential to offer several legendary pieces of gear.
Redeeming a SHiFT code is fairly simple once players link their desired platform account to the redemption website. Players simply need to enter the code as written (copy and paste also works), then click the “Check” button to confirm that the SHiFT code is still valid. After verification, players will be prompted to choose which platform they want to redeem the reward on. After making this selection, players should be able to open theirs Borderlands 4 game and find the newly added gold keys in your inventory under the dollar sign tab that displays their currency.
SHiFT codes that grant players golden keys have long been a staple Border series and are particularly popular community highlights.
