Any chance of Gojo coming back?
The return of Gojo depends on what JJK content fans will get in the future
Of course, fans want to know the chances of Gojo returning in some way or form in the future. To answer this question, two things need to be resolved, and the first is incredibly important. First and foremost, JJK needs to continue for Gojo to come back. The author of the story has not yet mentioned that he wants to continue the series. But that certainly doesn't mean there's no hope JJK continue in the future. What can be said is that JJK can no longer continue as a long-running series. The main story is officially over, and it seems Gege's intention is to focus on his new job in the future before doing anything related to Jujutsu Kaisen. However, there is still potential for one-offs or mini spin-offs.

Jujutsu Kaisen: The Future of the Series Explained
JJK still has a lot to explore in his story. Does this manga have a future?
For example, when Naruto ended, the story writer was definitely working on a mini-series that focused on Sarada Uchiha and the mystery surrounding her origin. He also did a one-shot that came out as recently as last year, and at the same time fans also remember Kishimoto making a movie called Boruto: Naruto the Movie that fit into the canon. Just like Kishimoto did all these things after the main story ended, it's totally see Gege doing it even though he has plans for another series. As such, JJK will no longer continue as a long-running manga, but as a one-shot, a spin-off of several chapters, or a movie.
With this issue resolved, fans can now move on to the Gojo issue. At the end of the story, it is clear that Gojo is dead forever. If there is a sequel, he will not return to the story. The only way he can come back in the sequel is through a flashback at best. But fans don't know what, if any, sequel, one-shot or movie JJK will get. Gojo can certainly make a comeback if the one-shot, movie or spin-off series is actually set in the past. For example, fans could see something that took place before JJK started. In that case, Gojo would definitely be present in the story and fans would get a chance to enjoy the character once more. It is also possible that in a series that covers the future after the end of Shinjuku Showdown, Gojo can be targeted via flashback, especially if it is focused on the Gojo clan. Sure, there are ways to incorporate Gojo into the story, and fans could potentially see him make a return.

Of course, fans won't get to see Gojo in that case, but perhaps his ancestor could be revealed in an exciting way. The possibilities for JJK's exciting future are endless, and it all depends on what the author wants to do from here on out.
