The continent of Pywel Crimson Desert is full of fictional wonders. From fantasy themes like dragon riding and magic to mechs and jetpacks straight out of a sci-fi story, the game covers a lot of ground. However, one aspect of the game seems to be closer to reality than most other games: how you make money.
Most other action adventure games or RPGs only give you money as quest rewards or loot, Crimson Desert lets you do that by investing. You will need to open a bank account for 100 silver and deposit a gold bar to earn interest; really engaging gameplay! However, finding a gold brick isn't that easy in the early game if you don't know where to look for it.
Where to find Gold Bricks in Crimson Desert
As PC Gamer pointed out, there's actually a gold bar you can steal relatively close to the Crimson Desert starting area. Lioncrest Manor is located northwest of the starting area. Even though it's part of a later quest, you can still get in to get a gold brick and start investing early.
The entrance is blocked, so you'll have to go around the back, climb over the wall to the right of the door, and open the window to get inside. Once inside, go downstairs to find a fireplace with a lion statue above it. Put out the fire and get a chance to explore the area. You will find a hidden compartment that contains a gold brick that you can steal. Just make sure no one is around when you do this.
Remember kids, start investing early to get the best returns. This way you don't have to resort to stealing or taking coins from people you beat in battle. It also makes sure you can buy proper food instead of cooking on the ground by reflecting the sun with your sword like some weirdo.
