Palworld has certainly changed a lot since its launch in January, and now it won't let 2024 rest as it leaves with a big update in tow.

Pocketpair is now looking to follow up this release with another one Palworld update in the form of Feybreak, which was announced at The Game Awards 2024 on December 12. The upcoming patch was unveiled as part of a 92-second cinematic trailer that previewed some of the content, including a new faction leader and a new assortment of weapons. Feybreak is scheduled for December 23, Pocketpair said. If previous game updates are any indication, this upcoming patch will likely debut on PC at least a few hours before it hits consoles.

Following the TGA 2024 trailer, Pocketpair has shared a few more details about Feybreak, confirming that the upcoming update will expand Palworld's list of friends and even introduce other buildings. The package will also include new game mechanics, the Japanese developer said, though without elaborating. As for new weapons, the TGA 2024 promo teased weaponry that appears to resemble an M1 Garand, an AK-47, a plasma minigun, and some sort of submachine gun, as well as a plasma sword.


Feybreak will largely focus on the new map, which arrives in the form of an island that is officially advertised as six times the size of the map from PalworldSakurajima Update, which was released for PC and console players in late June 2024. A trailer revealed at the latest Game Awards showcased glimpses of the upcoming map and hinted that Feybreak Island will feature a diverse range of environment designs.
