A disturbing glitch makes Destiny 2 look like a horror game
A recently announced Destiny 2 glitch turns Bungie's popular first-person shooter into a horror experience like Amnesia: The Dark Descent or Outlast.
Next to Fate 2 Weekly Reset, Bungie released the 8.1.0.3 update that officially kicked off the Festival of the Lost. The content sees the return of both Haunted Sectors and Book of the Forgotten, as well as giving players another opportunity to unlock the Twilight Memento Triumph. In addition to new perks for Mechabre, Jurassic Green, Breytech Werewolf, and Acosmic, players can also get the new Arcane Embrace, a 2-shot Heavy Burst Arc Shotgun.
In addition to the new seasonal event, the update also makes various adjustments and improvements to the base game and fixes issues Fate 2Specific missions Seasonal Artifact, Onslaught Salvation, Episode: Revenant as well as Vesper's Host and Salvation's Edge. Interestingly, this update also fixes a few odd issues affecting the Vantage Point pulse rifle, which not only received Voltshot instead of Jolting Feedback, but was also apparently able to equip specific Rocket Launcher mods.
One bug not addressed in this patch is the recent controversy surrounding what Fate 2 community calls Perk Promimity Theory. Basically, weapon perks are more likely to drop with those closer on the column table, making it almost impossible to get certain rolls. Bungie has not only confirmed the issue, but plans to fix it on November 5th, as well as reward players for their diligence in finding it with unique emblems and opportunities to obtain weapons with rare perks.
