Destiny Fan makes an incredible foray into Halo Infinite

Devoted Fate 2 a fan took on the daunting task of creating his own version of the iconic in-game raids Halo Infiniteis Forge. The end result is an experience that should appeal to both Fate 2 and Halo Infinite fans and is currently free to play.

Since the foundation Fate franchise, raids were a fundamental part of the gaming experience. These activities are often considered to be some of the most challenging parts of the games and require players to use teamwork to overcome obstacles. These can include platforming sections, puzzles, enemies, and more. Finally, the raids end with a final battle against a legendary boss that often requires players to be at the top of their game to defeat. While Fate 2 has featured a number of raids since its launch more than eight years ago, which hasn't stopped one fan from creating his own version of the six-player missions in another FPS game.

Destiny 2 Fan creates an original raid experience in Halo Infinite

On Reddit, a user known as MadmanEpic revealed a Fate– the inspired raid they did Halo Infinite. According to a Reddit user, they created the experience in Forge and designed it to be similar in scope to raids in Fate 2. Fortunately, Halo Infinite's Forge offers a robust set of features that allow the player to build something that is many Fate Fans were interested in watching. So far, the Reddit post has received more than 1.7,000 votes, with many users praising the creator of the crossover idea.

Known as Shard of Ascension, MadmanEpic described the Forge-created activity as “an original full-length Fate raid.” With that in mind, players should expect their first playthrough to take two hours or more. However, the developer said that “perfect gameplay” could be completed in around 40 minutes. Along the way, players will face four encounters and several traversal sections complete with custom mechanics. While the experience was intended for six players, MadmanEpic noted that it could be scaled down to four. When you go with a smaller team, they recommend reducing the enemy difficulty to Normal.

As the recent YouTube trailer for Shard of Ascension shows, the fan-made raid features impressive PvE content with players using classic gameplay. Halo Infinite vehicles and fighting banished enemies. Unsurprisingly, MadmanEpic said this ambitious project “stretches Forge to its absolute limits.” Raid is definitely worth checking out for fans who want a Fate-inspired by raiding some of the HaloDNA embedded in the experience. Fortunately, anyone who wants to play Shard of Ascension can do so, even if they don't own them Halo Infinite's campaign because it's part of the free-to-play custom games in Forge. MadmanEpic left links to the map and Forge mode in his Reddit post.

Halo Infinite is done getting major content updates

It is undoubtedly exciting to see the addition of new fan-made content Halo Infiniteespecially on a scale as large as the Shard of Ascension. Unfortunately, this comes shortly after the last major content update for the pro Halo InfiniteOperation: Infinite, released on November 18. While there may be smaller patches, fans will have to rely on community-created content created in Forge to keep the experience fresh.

Fortunately, MadmanEpic's Fate-inspired raid reveals that fan ingenuity continues to shine through with Forge. Time will tell what other creative game-based experiences will be Fate 2 could appear in Halo Infinitewhile players wait for the next installment of the classic first-person shooter to launch.
