Magic: Assembly shares all the details of the new mechanics used within the upcoming Spider-Man Set, including new and returning mechanics. The latest partnership between the Wizards of the Coast and Marvel has given fans a lot of reasons to be enthusiastic about a number of unique and powerful cards. Magic: AssemblyComing Spider-Man The set contains Spider-Man and several of its most famous enemies from the whole history of franchise, including Doc Ock, Green Goblin and Mysterio, among other things. Now, Wizards of the Coast gives a creeping view of some of the new mechanics.
Initial revelation for Magic'with Spider-Man The set teased a number of exciting cards coming up with the release of the set. Several different multi-universal versions of Spider-Man will receive their own cards, from Peter Parker and Miles Morales to Gwen Stacy and even a card-based card. Many cards also have unique thematic effects associated with their character, such as “DOC OCK, ominous scientist”, who becomes the creation of 8/8 when the player has eight or more cards in the cemetery. Some of the Spider-ManA brand new mechanics is now shown by Wizards of the Coast.
A new post from Wizards of the Coast now shows some of the Spider-Man A new expansion mechanics come into play. Magic'with Spider-Man The set will introduce a new “web slicing” mechanic that allows players to play cards at alternative costs by returning a knocked creature. “Mayhem” allows players to throw the card from their cemetery if it was eliminated during the tension, while the new “The Soul Stone” card represents the ability to “harness” and permanently unlock the ability to pay its initial costs. Spider-Man also brings back the older Magic Mechanics, including “Connive”, double -sided cards and “modified creatures”.

- Shading: You can occupy cards with a web association for alternative costs if you also return a knocked creature that you control its owner.
- Chaos: You can occupy cards with Mayh from your cemetery for alternative costs if you dropped them during the same turn. The timing rules still apply.
- Connive: Draw the card and then dispose of the card. If you throw away the Nonland card, insert the counter +1/ +1 on this creation.
- Double -sided cards with transformation: Double -sided transformation cards can be played on both sides, one side has the ability to transform to the other side.
- Crew: Devices, Auras you control and counters are editing.
A number of new mechanics in Spider-Man Set Look to see a wide range of uses across different sets of sets. Many Spider-Man variants use web slopes in the set, allowing players to play stronger creatures quickly by swinging into action. The introduction of Soul Stone also strongly means future cards based on endless stones, and in 2026 another expansion of Marvel. Magic: Assembly'with Spider-Man The set officially releases 26 September.
The Spider-Man Expansion is not the only new expansion coming Magic: Assembly for the rest of the year. 2025 will see one more main set in the autumn, with November, which brings more “universes for” the set adding card based on the basis based on Avatar: Last Airbender. The coast magicians have also teased several sets in space in 2026 and revealed “Lorwyn Eclipsed” and “Secrets of Strixhaven” to start sometime next year.
