Diablo 4 players have 47 days to get a free pet

WITH Diablo 4With Season 11 PTR now up and running until October 28th, it's starting to feel like Season 10 is entering its closing phase. Diablo 4 Season 10 was without a doubt one of the best seasons the game has ever seen, so it will be a sad day for fans when it ends and mechanics like Chaos Armor and Chaos Perks disappear. With the end of season 10, Diablo 4 players will also miss out on free cosmetic items that can be obtained through the Season Path and Reliquary, including a new pet, Pandora the Fox.

Diablo 4 introduced pets in Season 4 as part of an overhaul of the loot gathering mechanics. Having an active pet is not just a cosmetic bonus Diablo 4 players, but it comes with the feature of automatically collecting certain drops such as gold, gem fragments and other resources. Earning Pandora the Fox allows players to get one of the few free pets in the game while also ensuring they have an adorable way to collect valuable resources without having to think about them.

Diablo 4 players can only earn the Pandora Fox Pet during Season 10

Although there are many pets that players can obtain Diablo 4only a handful are available for free. Most Diablo 4 pets have been locked behind premium battle passes or must be purchased with platinum from Tejal's Shop. However, the past few seasons have given players the opportunity to earn a free pet simply by following the post-season journey:

Diablo 4 Season 7 – Dorian the Raven
Diablo 4 Season 8 – Iris the Cat
Diablo 4 Season 9 – Dante the Dog
Diablo 4 Season 10 – Pandora the Fox

How to earn Pandora the Fox in Diablo 4 Season 10

To unlock Pandora's fox as a pet Diablo 4players will need to progress through the season path and complete Chapter 6. Completing this chapter requires players to complete 5 of the 6 chapter objectives:

Ripped off madness
Chaos of hell
- Open the tortured gift of mysteries
- Defeat the Blood Maiden 5 times
- Defeat a Hellborne born by reaching maximum threat level
- Find and close 25 Chaos Rifts
Plutonian chaos
Protection of the realm
- Complete a world championship event
- Complete the Legion event
- Defeat the world boss
Live in excess
- Make any jewelry box at the jeweler's
- Craft Blacksmith's Cash at the Blacksmith
- Salvage 99 Ancestral Legendary equipment in Blacksmith
Knock on the hell gate
- Complete Artificer's Tier 55 or higher
- Upgrade Paragon Glyph to rank 45

Because not every one of these goals has to be met in order to be completed Diablo 4 Season 10 is Chapter 6 and to get Pandora the Fox, players have the option to choose the ones that are easiest for them to solve. Players can progress towards completing some of these objectives before the chapter is unlocked, so it's possible that they won't have to invest too much time in completing them once Chapter 6 is available.

Along with Pandora the Fox, players also get a Mystery Greater Archetype Cache, 1120 Infernal Warp, and 3 Smoldering Ash for completing this chapter.

Diablo 4 Season 10 free cosmetics are gone after December 9th

Unfortunately, Diablo 4 after Season 10 ends, players will not be able to get Pandora's Fox as a pet. As with past pets obtained from seasonal journeys, this reward is only available for a limited time. With Season 10 ending on December 9th and giving way to Season 11 on the same day, players should take advantage of the 47 days left to hit the post-season journey if they want to get the exclusive pet for free before it's gone.
