Diablo 4 Season 11 gives one class a short end

After a season that saw a very diverse S-Tier lineup, Diablo 4 In Season 11, there is a drop in some classes in the meta. Although there will likely still be a solid mix of meta built-ins Diablo 4 In Season 11, some of Season 10's best builds will fall by the wayside without the help of Chaos Armor and Perks. One of the best classes since Diablo 4 Season 11 adds insult to injury with the new Unique, who is unlikely to move the needle back towards dominance in Season 10.

From the looks of it, classes like Spiritborn and Rogue are likely to repeat their introductions in Season 10 in the coming period Diablo 4 season. Both of these classes get fantastic new uniques in Path of the Emissary Boots and Death's Pavane Pants, which should enhance the already powerful build options. On the other end of the spectrum is Druid, who not only loses access to an overpowered build without Chaos Perks, but also gains what is arguably the worst new unique in Season 11.

Diablo 4 Season 11 is a 180-degree turn for druids

During Diablo 4 Season 10, Druids shot to the top of the meta with Kilt of Blackwing Unique and Chaos Perks allowing the class to run the S-Tier Companion Druid build. Without Chaos Perks, this Companion Druid build basically falls apart because Ravens is back on cooldown and can't be spammed. While the Kilt of Blackwing Unique is still available, its viability is greatly reduced without the Savagery Chaos Perk turning Ravens into a core skill. New unique for druids v Diablo 4 Season 11 also doesn't do this class any favors, and it probably won't be worth using in any lineup this season.

The Druid's New Khamsin Steppewalkers Unique is basically useless

- Unique Affix: Damage 200-100 enemies with Storm Skills grants a charge. Casting any defensive skill grants you maximum movement speed and unhindered for 1 second for each charge used. When charged, enemies you run into are immobilized for 1 second.

The best part of Druid Khamsin Steppewalkers is the increased Unique cooldown reduction. However, his Unique Affix isn't very strong, as damaging 200-100 enemies with Storm Skill is a hefty requirement for one charge, which provides a 1 second buff when using a defensive skill. There are much better options for Druid players to utilize in their Boots slot that can achieve similar, if not stronger, effects to Rakanoth's Wake.

Not only does Rakanoth's Wake provide increased movement speed and cooldown reduction, but its unique affix also allows the player to deal AoE Fire damage whenever they cast a skill with a cooldown.

Druids take a step back after dominating Diablo 4 Season 10

Compared to the nature of the game Kilt of Blackwing in Diablo 4 Season 10, Khamsin Steppewalkers are quite a disappointment. Other classes like Spiritborn and Rogue are getting new tools in their kits to help make up for the lack of Chaos Armor and Chaos Perks this season. Meanwhile, Druid is in danger of falling into obscurity in the Season 11 meta without an exceptional build like Tier 10 Companion Druid.

A potential saving grace for druids Diablo 4 Season 11 is a new Divine Gift mechanic that allows you to build without the need for a Unique to occupy the slot. In particular, Essence of Anguish could be a great alternative to Khamsin Steppewalkers, as its Purified ability increases the player's movement speed by 30%. While the cooldown reduction of Khamsin Steppewalkers is nice, in the absence of Chaos Armor it's not worth swapping out a stronger Unique Affix.
