Diablo 4 Season 11 has a new virtually unbeatable leveling path

Leveling up quickly and efficiently to reach the endgame content of that season Diablo 4 is also the first task players face when creating a new seasonal character. Fortunately, Diablo 4 Season 11 opens the door to the Pit as an ideal level farming location even before players reach the endgame.

The Pit is once again the best place to level up quickly in Diablo 4 Season 11

During the seasons it is the best place to settle Diablo 4 was very different. In previous seasons, an optimal path developed between Nightmare Dungeons and Helltides, with the Pit being a great choice for advancing to the Paragon Board once players hit level 60. However, the Pit could become the place to move during the early game grind towards max level in Diablo 4thanks to the removal of some barriers to entry in Season 11.

Prior to Season 11, the Pit could not be entered until players reached the maximum level of 60, as the dungeon acted as a gateway to the higher difficulty levels of Torment. However, with Diablo 4 Season 11's shift towards Capstone Dungeons as difficulty gates, the Pit has been opened for access before players reach max level. Players can now start farming the Pit at level 10 once they are strong enough to reach 2nd in the season, making it a fantastic leveling place for most of the season.

The Pit will also cost no resources to enter, making it easily repeatable for players who want to farm it.

How to maximize pit leveling efficiency in Diablo 4 Season 11

While players will not be able to unlock the Pit in immediately Diablo 4 In Season 11, it's still likely to become a popular early-season leveling spot. Players will want to have a firm handle on their build before venturing into the Pit, with a few legendaries and potentially even a unique or two before trying to escape. This would make level 30 or 40 the recommended starting place for the Pit for most players to get the most out of runs in between leveling and endgame content, as the Capstone Dungeon to reach Rank 2 is set at level 30.

For the best chance of success in the Pit in Diablo 4 In Season 11, players will want to follow a few unwritten rules:

  • When entering the Pit for buffs, have an active potion and incense, as well as more experience gained.

  • Invest in movement speed to make dungeon runs much faster.

  • If the challenge is too much, take it one level at a time. There's no need to skip multiple levels between rides, especially since the Pit isn't standing this season.

Another great reason to use Pit as a leveling farm is preparation Diablo 4's Tower dungeon and Leaderboards due out in early 2026. The two dungeons will likely play very similarly and similar builds will thrive in both, so the Pit will be a perfect test run for many builds in anticipation of The Tower's release.
