The Season of Slaughter has officially been introduced Diablo 4and marks a significant point in the game's life as a live stream title. Diablo 4 Season 12 will be the last season before the launch of the Lord of Hatred expansion, which not only adds a new Warlock class, but also overhauls the skill trees, increases the number of Torment levels and the level cap, and adds a new Skovos map. While some Diablo 4 players may see this season as the calm before the storm, fans of one class should celebrate its return to form after being overshadowed over the past few seasons.
Diablo 4 Season 12 puts a renewed emphasis on killing demons from Sanctuary with the return of the Killstreak mechanic from Diablo 3and the ability for players to transform themselves into the dreaded Butcher. This season also adds the Bloodied item quality, offering new affixes that reward players for killing enemies as quickly as possible. as such Diablo 4 The best Season 12 builds will be ones that can slice up demons quickly and efficiently, and it seems the stars have aligned with Barbarian to do just that.
As a necromancer fan, Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred's Warlock may be my new favorite class [Hands-On Preview]
GameRant took a look at Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred's Warlock class and showed off what to expect from the upcoming expansion.
Barbarians should thrive in Diablo 4 Season 12
The barbarian was in the background Diablo 4 class in recent seasons, despite being one of the best classes in the game in the early days. Diablo 4 In Season 11, Barbarian made his way to the top of the meta, but was eventually overshadowed by the release of Paladin to open the season. Now that the honeymoon is over Diablo 4's Paladin, Barbarian, can finally show its true power with a series of Tier 12 additions that are perfect for the class to take advantage of.

Barbarian players will want to get their hands on these 2 new uniques as soon as possible
-
Blood-Mad Idol – A unique amulet
-
Thousand-Eye Reaver — A unique one-handed axe
Unlike the past Diablo 4 seasons that added one new unique per class, Diablo 4 The Season 12 Uniques are all multi-class usable. Two of the best new Uniques are perfect for barbarians as they can give the class useful status conditions with added bonuses. Blood-Mad Idol allows the user to be in Berserk at all times, increasing their damage by 25% and movement speed by 30% at the cost of taking Burning damage every 8 seconds. However, during Burning, the user receives an additional 75-125% damage increase.
Thousand-Eye Reaver is another perfect barbarian unique Diablo 4 Season 12. Gives the user access to the Spiritborn's Ferocity state, which increases attack speed with each buff stack. Barbarians are able to equip both of these Uniques, allowing them to reap the rewards of both buffs at the same time.
The Season of Slaughter rewards the aggressive play style of Diablo 4 Barbarians
Diablo 4The Killstreak feature increases the player's Killstreak level based on how many enemies they kill in the short time between encounters. The new Bloodied gear comes with affixes that activate based on Killstreak levels and kills, plus seasonal rewards like reputation that increase based on the level players reach during their Killstreak. This means that movement and attack speed will be critical to success in Diablo 4 Season 12 and the Barbarian suddenly has these useful new tools to optimize his lethality.
Lunging Strike will be the best barbarian build for Diablo 4 Season 12
Main building for Diablo 4 Barbarians in season 12 will probably be Lunging Strike Barbarian. This build was already top tier in the Season 11 meta, but will benefit even more from the new uniques added in Season of Slaughter. Although the consecration will not be after the end of season 11, Diablo 4 promises that Bloodied gear will make up for the loss of Sanctification, with build-defining features on par with Tier 10 Chaos Armor.
Diablo 4 is officially on its way to doom
Diablo 4's 'Season of Slaughter' is set to begin in a few days and will bring with it an official crossover with Doom: The Dark Ages.

In terms of skills, Lunging Strike will be the bread and butter Diablo 4 A barbarian build because it has high mobility and resource generation. Since Barbarians equipped with a Blood-Mad Idol will always be Berserking, the cries of choice for this build will be Challenging Shout and Rallying Cry, as War Cry will be useless. Ground Stomp is important for drawing enemies close to Barbarian, and Iron Skin helps with survivability, especially when players will be constantly taking Burning damage from Blood-Mad Idol. Wrath of the Berserker is mostly useful for getting Unstoppable as it won't be needed to trigger Berserking.
In addition to Thousand-Eye Reaver and Blood-Mad Idol, other key uniques for this Lunging Strike Barbarian include the Paingorger's Gauntlets build, which allows the player to mark enemies with non-basic skills like Ground Stomp before using a basic skill like Lunging Strike to damage all marked enemies. This is useful for quickly clearing groups and adding to the Barbarian's Killstreak. Tibault's Will is needed for Synergy with Wrath of the Berserker as it increases the Barbarian's damage when they are unstoppable.
Hooves of the Mountain God allows Lunging Strike to bite enemies and deal more damage while draining their Fury resource. With the Barbarian's ability to equip an entire arsenal of weapons, the Shard of Verathiel is an essential one-handed companion to the Thousand-Eye Reaver as it greatly increases the damage output of Lunging Strike.
This build drains the Barbarian's Fury resource quickly, so it's also necessary to have the legendary adaptability aspect on the item, as it increases resource generation by 5 additional Fury gained from casting the basic skill.
Lunging Strike Barbarian is perfect for Diablo 4 Season 12's Killstreak Mechanic
Although the Barbarian is powerful, it has historically been one of the slower ones Diablo 4 classes with limited mobility to choose from. With access to Spiritborn's Ferocity and constant Berserking, the barbarian can easily become a v speed demon Diablo 4 Season 12, giving him both the strength and movement speed needed to punch through enemies and maintain a Killstreak. Blizzard is still keeping some of Bloodied's extensions under wraps, but there are certainly some abilities that Barbarian could and should be able to put to good use with such a build.
