The witch's house is right next to where you find the cows (X:375, Y:224)and once you start the quest it will be marked with a yellow flag on your map. It's a house with a big frog on the porch.
To enter, lift The key to the witch's house in front of the entrance (use hotkey to highlight objects to find it). Use the key to open the door next to the frog and enter the house.
Find the hatch leading down to the basement in the room next to the bedroom. Having a figure with 4 Theft use the pin to unlock the hatch and enter it The cellar of the witch's house.
If you can't lock the cellar hatch, you can find the key to it by killing Alice Alisceon in Cloisterwood and looting her body.
The cellar of the witch house is swarming with exploding rats. These rats spawn from rat holes located on the walls in the basement. To deal with the rats, you will need to close the rat holes by destroying them with attacks. There are a total of five rat holes, one in the first room and four in the second. Use a character with ranged skills, such as a mage or archer, to close the rat holes from a distance without the rats ambushing you.
Once we deal with all the rats, activate the lever in the second room, open the metal grate leading to the last room.
Pick up A witch's potion from a shelf in the corner of the roombehind the table and chair. This is the potion the cows are looking for. However, since this is only a one-time dose, it can only cure one of them.

- If you have one witch potion in your inventory: Give Geraldine or Mabel the Witch's Potion to remove the curse from one of them (13450XP). The Treated Like Cattle quest will not close until you bring the second potion to heal the second cow. The second time you get 13450 XP when you use the second potion for a total of 26900 XP.
- If you have two witchcraft potions in your inventory: Give both Geraldine and Mabel a Witch Potion to remove the curse from them both (13450XP).
- If you use persuasion to request a reward: Mabel will agree to sell you books for free, and Geraldine will offer to tell you where the secret treasure stash is. However, this will reduce the experience reward for healing any cow from 13450XP to 8075XP.
