Dying Light 2 Update Brings back fan favorite mode

Dying Light 2Tower Raid mode returns in the newly released game update 1.19. The activity has been removed over time Dying Light 2 received its previous update in August.

In June, Techland gave Dying Light 2 players the opportunity to try the beta version of a new activity called Tower Raid. The mode, which was inspired by the VNC Tower mission of the popular zombie shooter, essentially turned the game into a roguelike experience that rewarded people with loot for reaching the end of a dungeon—in this case, a skyscraper. Tower Raid was considered by many to be a fun and challenging activity, but it was eventually removed after the beta period ended. However, Techland brought this mode back Dying Light 2 via a recently released patch.

Update 1.19 for Dying Light 2 which launched on October 30, features Tower Raid: Halloween Run, a version of the popular activity based on the popular annual celebration featuring costumes, treats and scarecrows. This iteration features a new final boss, three additional floor types, and a set of Halloween-themed characters for people to play as. Each character has unique equipment, characteristics and play style Dying Light 2 feeling more like a modern class-based shooter than a zombie survival game. For example, Scarecrow has a larger health pool, while Van Aiden deals more ranged damage.

In addition to bringing back Tower Raid, Dying Light 2Update 1.19 also fixed bugs, brought quality of life improvements, and implemented all kinds of other improvements. One of the problems affected Dying Light 2 Diva side quest. Another caused the game to freeze whenever the player opened the map in the middle of changing locations.

Tower Raid: Halloween Run will be playable until November 20th. Those who have difficulty playing this activity can use two types of perks to gain buffs while traversing the dungeon. Session Perks can only be purchased with Halloween Candies, current Dying Light 2 special event currency. There are also character perks that can only be obtained by trading perk points.

Techland is currently working on Dying Light: The Beaststandalone experience that originally started as DLC for Dying Light 2. The upcoming game that follows Dying light protagonist Kyle Crane, will feature a new story that should provide players with at least 18 hours of adventure.

20 years have passed since the events of the original game. The virus has won and humanity is slowly dying. You play as Aiden Caldwell, a wandering pilgrim who delivers goods, brings news and connects the few remaining surviving settlements in the wastelands ravaged by the zombie virus. However, your real goal is to find your little sister, Mia, who you abandoned as a child to escape Dr. Waltz's torturous experiments. Haunted by the past, you finally decide to confront her when you discover that Mia may still be alive in Villedor – the last city on Earth.

You will quickly find yourself in a settlement torn by conflict. You will have to engage in creative and bloody combat, so hone your skills to defeat hordes of zombies and gain allies. Roam the city, run free across Villedor's buildings and rooftops in search of loot in outlying areas, and beware of the night. With each sunset, monsters take over the streets.
