Homo Luma |
Weak on Fire and Dark. It has high agility to start and use Fish Fandango to increase his hit and miss rate even further. |
|
Platinum Homo Tenta |
It absorbs all elementsso use Slash, Strike, Pierce and/or Almighty. Toothbrush medium menu Omnipotent damage to all party members. It can also cast Light and Dark magic spells. |
We start at Entrance to the royal palacebut this is your standard “chat with your party members and/or visit others” room. Head inside for Front salonthe first real zone on Skybound Avatar.
Almost immediately, you'll see the road splits east and west. Start with that go west The Homo Lumas the newest enemies here are fish type, so they can be annoyingly quick to ambush you – make sure they're turned around before you approach.
Get a hold of yourself Gold medal and Magla Candelabra blue items but be careful because the new variant of the pesky ones exploding squid enemies they will be placed along the walls in this area. There are also new ones gargoyle deal with
The
The ultimate corrupted two-hander
the blue item near the Magla Candelabra should be prized as soon as possible the next time you're in town, as there's a good chance it'll be a powerful weapon.
Continue north through this western wing of the parlor until you reach a treasure chest with sealed gloves inside. Once you're done here, return to the lobby and go east this time instead.
Here are more blue items – frankly, there are mountains of them throughout Skybound Avatar, so here we go don't list every blue item – but it is in a treasury-like room in the east wing Abacus Proletariat in this chest.
The key difference here is that this room continues on its west wall into the new spaceso head through the door. A cutscene will start; with the staircase blocked we have no choice but to enter the bottom door.

Homo Flaemo |
Weak on Electric. Use Breath of battle increase your attack and defense stats to the max. |
|
Dark Elmenta |
Weak on Light. Like all Elements he flees on his first turnso remove it quickly. |
|
Bloodcoin Imitec |
Weak on Light. As with other Imitecs, you can spend a reeve to dispel itbut you probably don't need it at this point in the game. |
|
Voidblack Homo Orelon |
These serve as side bosses. Weak on Electric. No other weaknesses or resistances. Cast Mamudodyne for the whole party Dark damage and uses strong physical attacks like Crazy Rush. |
You are immediately thrown into battle against a Homo FlaemoSkybound Avatar version of those human monsters with big ears from the Dragon Temple. More will sprout in the process Royal Gardenbut we want to avoid unnecessary fights with them.
An interesting thing about the Royal Garden, and frankly easier to avoid than the Dragon Temple, is Homo Flaemos are all in a vast garden maze. It's pretty easy to deduce the ways to avoid them, even if it seems overwhelming at first.
The
the east side of the garden has a lot of mud
which must be waded through. This is less of an obstacle to enemy ambushes than one might think; remember that
scrolling forward speeds up your speed through the swamps.
The first blue item on the east side is A keepsake hairpinwhich has DEF 125, increases Magic by 5, and prevents Forget – so, well, no forget to pick it up.
If you need to, you can
running back and forth across grassy areas
(like the one with Memento's hairpin) until Homo Flaemos reverses course. They will not reach you on solid ground.
You have two objectives in the Royal Garden: elimination of two Voidblack Homo Orelons, one of which is at the end of the east and west paths, respectively.. As surprised as the party seems when getting rid of one doesn't work, it's pretty clear what's going on!
Treasures In The Royal Garden
The following treasure chests can be found in these approximate locations:
- The southeast corner The Royal Gardens contains a treasure chest that starts the battle against a Bloodcoin Imitec. Beat it for Gloves of Divine Lightwhich has DEF 130, Strength +4, Magic +4 and prevents all physical ailments.
- Chest found roughly in the middle, south of Homo Flaemos blocking the way forward, contains Destroyer's Edgeweapon for Berserkers with an ATK of 370. In particular it can be cleaned become more powerful.
- The southwest corner I have a chest from the royal garden Gambler's Annales for Falsely with ATK 350 that allows all normal attacks become critical hits. The downside is that the HIT is 50.
- Thorax about halfway up the west wall has another Bloodcoin Imitec. His reward is a Ghost Light Katana for thieves with ATK 410. It is equipped, normal attacks gain fire affinity.
Sub-Boss: Grotesque Chimenzahn
When you finish dosing both Voidblack Homo Orelons, head forward into the middle room which is now accessible and you will face Grotesque Chimenzahn.
|
Grotesque Chimenzahn |
This is more of a “real” underboss. Weak on Ice and Wind. He uses Breath of battle increase his Attack and defense to the maximum and can also heal yourselfwhich will naturally slow down the fight by a few turns. It can throw Gabout act high Fire party damage. Rend is a heavy physical attack on one target. |
After the fight you will return to the game Front salonbut the staircase is cleared. Go through the newly revealed door, cross the bridge over the Royal Garden, and you'll arrive at Royal passage. Save on Misty Hollowand if you're ready to move on, head north.

Palace corridor
|
Moldilich |
Weak on Strike. Reflects all elemental attacks. It pours powerfully Light and Dark spells and can lower everyone's defense at the same time with Vidyartha. |
|
Ziocropos |
Weak on Wind. |
at this point Skybound Avatar becomes non-linear – you have doors to the east and to the west, each containing full sections. They are quite different zones as you will see. Let's start with the left door, leading west.
You should continue to fight with
Blood Imitecs
in their chests as you progress through the dungeon, not just to get treasure, but because they
they often release the Heavenly Waters
for cleaning. actually
you can steal them from them
also.
Here in Palace corridorA number of doors await you located across a winding corridor it can be more than a little disorienting. At first it will seem like your worst nightmare.
Fortunately, there is a key to understanding the Palace Corridor that will make the whole thing quite manageable: the blue door leads to the right and the red door leads to the left. If you understand this basic fact, it is almost clear shot on target.
The ongoing trick stems from how occasionally you'll have to turn the other way first to continue along your route east or west. When you feel like you can't go on, try the door leading in the opposite directioncounterintuitive as it may seem.
Treasures In The Corridor Of The Palace
Here you will find these chests:
- Thorax just a little to the west from the entrance hall contains a Blood Imitatorthough you will receive after defeating him Lance of the Old Godwith ATK 370; it can be cleaned.
- On far west end and towards the bottom of the screenthere's another one Blood Imitator inside the chest. This time your prize is a Snowfield Macewith ATK 390. Increases Light attack power.
- TO northeast is a chest with Blade of Totsuka for Warriors. It can be cleaned and has ATK 370.
Sub-Bos: Leogrophon
|
Leogrophon |
Weak on Break through. Resists fire, ice, and Light. Repulses Wind. Use Soul Scream get four move icons, Breath of battle increase dramatically Attack and defense. Controls featuring attacks Fire, Ice, Electric, and Wind. |
Banquet hall
And now for something completely different: k Banquet hall. If you see the screenshot above, you will know how to do it this place is small. In fact, rather than being a sprawling maze like the previous section, it's a one large room with two wings upstairs.
The twist is in that once you enter the banquet hall, you have five minutes to find and destroy five Magla flowers. You can find them in the following places:
- The south room on the ground floor.
- The north room on the ground floor.
- The east room on the ground floor.
- On north upper wing.
- On south upper wing.
Because you should be able to send every enemy Magla Flowers sends out into global combatyou don't have to be afraid of real battles. Just be careful not to underestimate the range some of these skeletons can attack from.
That's really all there is to it, down to the sub-boss; if you feel pressed for time, refrain from detouring for all the blue items until you complete the task of destroying every Magla flower.
Sub-boss: Gupdetron
|
Gupdetron |
Weak on Break through and Ice. Repulses Fireand use Breath of battle for the usual Attack and defense strengthens. He uses heavy physical and Fire attacks. |
Like the other Skybound Avatar sub-bosses, Gupdetron is a bit of a joke. With a team that can use their advantages double weakness for Pierce and Iceyou should be in big trouble reducing his health by one third or even a little more than half before it's his turn.
Corridor – Ruins
Along the banquet hall – or the palace corridor if you've done it the other way around – you'll be sent up an unsealed staircase and another door in Royal passage. Other Misty Hollow it is here for your pleasure.
When you enter the final Skybound Avatar zone, Corridor – Ruinsit's just a straight forward passage until a cutscene occurs. After the cutscene, Zorba appears and a showdown with Louis's chief lackey begins.
Check out our guide on how to beat Melancholy Zorba pack things – after the boss fight, more cutscenes follow and Skybound Avatar is coming to an end.
