March 26 is supposed to be a big day Borderlands 4 fans as it marks the release of the game's first DLC Story Pack along with the first Vault Hunter after the game's launch. What's more, it is Borderlands 4 it will also receive a free major update on the same day, bringing with it several highly requested features. First Story Pack DLC for Borderlands 4 is packed with new content for players to experience. In addition to new main and side quests for Mad Ellie and Vault of the Damned, which will take players to a new Kairos region called The Whispering Glacier, players can also play as a new Vault Hunter, C4SH, whose set revolves around the new Fortune and Windfall mechanics. Crazy Ellie and the Vault of Damn Main and Side Missions
Borderlands 4The first Story Pack DLC focuses on new main story missions for Mad Ellie and Vault of the Damned. This story DLC returns to a fan favorite Border character Ellie as she tries to destroy a new cosmic threat to Kairos located in the Whispering Glacier. Fans Borderlands 3's Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC will also be pleased to see Mancubus Bloodtooth return, moving from working with The Lodge to Xylourgos to help guide players on this quest.

Along with Ellie and Mancubus, Pickle z Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel also returns to the series. Although Pickle is one of the Border more controversial characters of the series, has a chance to redeem himself once and for all in the eyes of the fans in this DLC. Ellie's mother, Moxxi, is also here to help her and the player in their quest. Moxxi is already appearing Borderlands 4Bottom's game, launching the game Bottom's Up! bar in Carcadia Burn, but will likely have a key role in the story with his daughter Ellie now involved in the events on Kairos.
New Vault Hunter — C4SH
Probably a star Borderlands 4The upcoming DLC is a new playable character, C4SH, who joins Vex, Rafa, Harlow, and Amon as the newest Vault Hunter in the series. Fans Borderlands 3FL4K will be happy to see another Vault Hunter bot and C4SH looks to bring some interesting new gameplay features to the table. Revealed in the recent C4SH character trailer, Vault Hunter is a former CasinoBot who received a deck of magic cards complete with eldritch abilities after winning a high-stakes card game, so his playstyle is based on luck and stacking the deck in his favor.

C4SH gains stacks of luck every time he kills an enemy and has the ability to activate his unique Vault Hunter trait, Windfall, after reloading or using an action skill. While Windfall is active, C4SH consumes all Luck stacks to increase weapon abilities and damage while adjusting his equipped Action Skill. The first action skill C4SH can use is Cross-Fire, which allows C4SH to pull out his Dual Revolvers and automatically fire them at enemies from a third-person perspective, similar to Rafa's Arc-Knives. While Windfall is active, shots from C4SH's dual revolvers gain a chance to parry.
Sleight of Hand allows C4SH to draw a card in each hand that can be thrown at enemies for a random effect. While the unexpected effect is active, the effects of these cards increase. Cleromancy allows C4SH to roll dice and summon a bone totem to fight alongside him based on the result. While Windfall is active, the dice always land on a unique result, and rolling pairs allows C4SH to summon a Badass version of the Bone Totem.
C4SH will also have access to 8 unique heads and 1 alternate Vault Hunter body in the DLC.
New Map Zone — Whispering Glacier
As if Kairos wasn't hostile enough, The Whispering Glacier features an icy cold environment filled with Eridium spikes, rivers of blood, and fleshy growths. The eldritch setting will be familiar to fans Borderlands 3's Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC, where the Xylourgos map featured a similar environment. The Whispering Glacier also features a twist on the World Boss mechanic Borderlands 4where communicating with black trees gives players access to a random boss encounter.
New bosses, new loot and new cosmetics
Players can test their C4SH build against a variety of new enemies, including several returning enemies Pre-Sequelsuch as Kraggons, Scavs and DAHL Legion Soldiers. in addition Borderlands 4 gets tons of new loot in the expansion, including 2 new legendary shields, 2 new legendary grenades, 2 new legendary heavy weapons, 5 new legendary class mods (1 for Vault Hunter), 10 new legendary weapons, and 3 pearl weapons. Story Pack 1 isn't the only new content Borderlands 4 March 26. Players who are not interested in picking up this DLC can also experience the new features through the freebie Borderlands 4 also update v1.5. With this update Borderlands 4 adds some much-requested features to the game that should help players returning to the game for the DLC get back on their feet.

Shared procedure
So far, the main free update for Borderlands 4 coming with Story Pack 1 is set to include a level cap increase of 10, while Borderlands 4Level cap from 50 to 60. This is great news for players who have already maxed out their character and want to push their build further. Perhaps even more exciting is the addition of shared progression across all players Borderlands 4 characters. This means that things like SDU unlocks, map progression, vault fragments, Glide Pack upgrades, and more will be shared via the player account. Having access to these features right from the start will make starting a C4SH build much more feasible for players who have already completed Borderlands 4the main story.
