Disney's Lorcan it's still far from the TCG of old, but compared to Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon, it has a lot to catch up on. However, Disney's legacy certainly trumps that of other TCGs, and that means the release schedule has been packed for the past three years, and 2026 already looks set to be another strong showing.
While the slow but steady release of sets keeps the game fresh, it's the incredible theme and storytelling that takes place across the sets that really helps the game stand out and feel that much more connected with each new release.
Latest release: Winterspell, February 20, 2026
It suddenly got very cold with Lorcan's latest issue as Winterspell saw many of our favorite heroes and villains plunge into freezing temperatures. Elsa's attempts to freeze the mysterious vine resulted in a huge storm.
The set contains 204 new cardsbut it didn't launch with any new pre-con decks or two-player starter sets. Instead, we've got the Stitch Starter Kit launching in March, but that's it for the main products outside of the booster box and Illumineer's Trove, although a few other items have dropped, such as a gift set and some playmats.
It might be nice to have this set a little earlier, like right before the holiday season, given its cool themes, since spring is almost here and we want to start warming up again soon. However, from subject matter to relevance, Winterspell was a well-received set in every way, a promising way to start the year and get us excited for the rest of the sets to come in 2026.

Disney Lorcana Wilds Unknown: Complete breakdown of all products
Lorcan's next set takes us into new territory as we navigate “treacherous terrain” with Buzz Lightyear, Woody and many other heroes and villains.
Next: Wilds Unknown, May 15, 2026
The next Disney Lorcan set will be Wilderness unknownand rather ironically we know very little about it. There were four card previews, and we have a hunch that a new main character is on the scene, given that the deck's graphics were blurry in some of the promotional images.
The Toy Story seems to be the main focus of the setand in the early previews we saw the Buzz Lightyear card, but we also saw the Evil Queen and two of The Incredibles, Jack-Jack and Mrs. Incredible.
Elsewhere, we know that this set will premiere the Disney Lorcan Presale Pack, a new product that has deep roots in other TCGs like Magic: The Gathering. This pack will greatly enhance the pre-release window and events that take place the week before the full release, and even comes with some cool collectibles like a promo card and themed dice.
Confirmed products
- Booster Box
- Illumineer's Trove
- Prerelease Pack
The preview version of Wilds Unknown will be available starting May 8, 2026 with an MSRP of $39.99.
Q3 2026 – Attack Of The Vines
As is often the case until the release of the set, we rarely even see previews or products teased for Lorcan sets way down the road.
However, we do know that it will be called the Q3 release Attack of the Vinesand it hints at a running theme across the 2026 sets, given that Winterspell, as we mentioned, has vines as a focal point of the lore.
One thing we do know about Attack of the Vines is that the central characters will be those of Monsters Inc. and Turning Red, it's certainly an odd combination, but Lorcana has previous examples of quirky crossovers that have done exceptionally well.
The thematic approach of Lorcan sets is almost always spot on, and having a running story across all 2026 releases is a fantastic idea and a great way to get buy-in from players and collectors alike.
Q4 2026, Coco
We don't have an official name, promo image or anything else beyond confirming that Disney Lorcan's final set of 2026 will focus on Coconutand we can't wait!
Hopefully that means we'll be heading to the Land of the Dead and maybe even Santa Cecilia, but honestly, having Mexican vibes heavily represented throughout the set would be a big win and worth the three-year wait.
This will be the first time that Coco or any character from the film will appear in Lorcana.
