Pokemon Legends: At the moment, it looks somewhat promising and offers fans a huge shake of standard formula with real -time battles and an open world. However, it seems that the shared trauma that all Pokemon fans have experienced back during Scarlet & Violet has taken their toll because there are several fans who are not very satisfied with what the game looks like.
Thanks to the worlds of Pokemon, which took place over the weekend, a lot of new Pokemon legends were shown: for shots, including perhaps one of the most important moments in the game in terms of the story. The cutscene of the main character of the game, who seems to meet Zygard, for the first time, is making rounds on social media and saying that some fans are angry would be an underestimation.
Pokemon Legends: Behind the fans are not happy from the “cheap” cutscenes game
This scene seems to show that our main character is attacked in the form of a dog Zygard, before the camera strangely occurs. It is a bit bizarre, but some fans have already started to soak on Pokemon Legends: as a whole, frustrated that we do not see better cutscenes, although Pokémon is the largest multimedia IP on the planet.
Twitter user called Augustranen is one of such fans who claim that we will never see any quick improvements because the game freak “gets comfortably on a literal peak”. Their tweet is full of equal -minded fans of Pokémon as Omegakatanaxii, who further claims that Game Freak has again “[cheaped] to the graphics department ”.
One user brings Digimon Story: Time Stranger as an example of Pokemon-Esque cutscenes made correctly, but Digimon has a fraction of the budget that Pokemon does, while another fan pointed out that the game actually makes a very detailed and impressive looking PS5 and Xbox called Best of Reincarnation.
Personally, I think it is a bit hasty to assess a full game based on four seconds of shots, but I also agree that Pokemon could be a bit of high production, given that it is the largest Nintendo franchise in terms of recognition and sale. We will have to find out if Freak can prove doubts in terms of Pokémon's performance: Legends for, but let's be honest. Everything will be improved compared to Scarlet and Violet.
