Nintendo Switch 2 Partial manufacturers have modified their sales forecasts for the third quarter of 2025, which could spell good news for consumers who want to get a new console for the holidays. Hosiden is an assembler of parts and accessories for switches and since May 9th has revised its prognosis Q3 2025 to include a 10.3% increase in the expected net sales. The modified forecast came after Hosiden received additional orders from Nintendo after starting June 5. As far as Pixart is concerned, a company that produces Nintendo Joy-Con 2 mouse sensors are expected to increase sales between 11% and 19% by September. As with Hosiden, Pixart's prognosis was also caused by increased Nintendo demand for Nintendo consoles and peripherals.
Although the production of Switch 2 shoots before the 2025 holiday season, this step comes in uncertain time for the global economy. Due to the Trump administration tariffs to goods from different countries, Nintendo increased the price of the original family of console switches and accessories in the US, while Switch Lite is now starting to $ 229 instead of $ 199.
