Fake is spin-off series ideal for newcomers because it works as some kind of story “what if” in Fate/Stay at night Time. Actually it started as a joke of April, originally called The fate/states of the nightBut it could become one of the best franchise series and the director is working hard.

Where to watch the fate/strange fake

So far, only prologue film, Fate/strange fake: whisper of dawn and Fake/strange fake Episode 1 was released (“Heroid Incident”). Both are available exclusively on Crunkyroll – the company actually released an episode for a limited time before broadcasting on Japan's 31 TV.

When are new episodes coming out?

When the first episode was confirmed by New Year's Eve broadcast, many expected that the series would run regularly in January 2025, or that at least the release window would be released after the broadcast.

Unfortunately, this is not what happened. While the series is set to broadcast in 2025 (or at least episode 2 is set to air in 2025), there are no additional details and the correct release date remains. It is likely that the series will begin with episode 1 when it returns, not with the upcoming episode 2.

Both prologue film and Episode 1 are available on Crunkyroll with English oak (and of course with the original Japanese sound and submarine).
