Final Fantasy 14 Players can now gift more cosmetics from the online store to their friends as Square Enix removes restrictions on most items nearly four years after they were disabled. Formerly, Final Fantasy 14 took action against real money trading (RMT) on specific online store items, resulting in some restrictions on the items players could offer someone.
Regularly, Final Fantasy 14 releases new cosmetics in the online store as optional items that players can purchase with real money. These items range from costumes that can be used as charms to horses, minions, and home decorations. These items can also extend to the minions and clothing of others Final Fantasy games, with Battlefield Rose's Attire and Humble Attire serving as tributes to Beatrix and Garnet from Final Fantasy 9. Despite some of the offers available, some Final Fantasy 14 The online store's items have drawn criticism from fans, with prices a frequent point of contention.
