on Halloween, Final Fantasy 14 will host the 89th episode of Letter From The Producer LIVE, which will focus on Patch 7.4 and its key features. Along with new main story quests, Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.4 will include the final tier of the Arcadion raid series and various quality of life changes and features.
Final Fantasy 14The next Live Letter will take place when players participate in All Saints' Wake, a limited time event inspired by Halloween. The 2025 version of All Saints' Wake is now available to players until November 4th with two quests starting in the forest city of Gridania. These quests require players to reach level 15 or higher. This year's new rewards include an Ambulario holder and a Feastful All Saints' Wake Advertisement poster. Players who missed previous iterations of All Saints' Wake can also purchase past rewards from Final Fantasy 14 Online store while the promotion lasts.

Along with the Halloween festivities, Final Fantasy 14 will share some new information regarding the immediate future of the game. Final Fantasy 14 producer and director Naoki Yoshida will host LIVE Part 89 Letter From The Producer on Friday, October 31st at 7:00 AM ET. Yoshida will discuss what players can expect Final Fantasy 14update 7.4 as the patch name and release window will likely be revealed soon in the broadcast. Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.4 will also mark the finale Dawntrail'with the Arcadion raid series. However, it is not clear if the Normal and Savage AAC Heavyweight Tier versions will have separate launch dates or will take place at the same time. Final Fantasy 14Update 7.4 will also have new main story quests that should set the tone for the game's next expansion.
Based on past Live Letter broadcast times, Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.4 is expected to launch between mid-December and early January. Along with the new story and raid levels, other features such as the Strategy Board and the long-awaited player housing upgrade may also be discussed during the broadcast. The housing upgrade would increase the number of devices players can place in their virtual homes and allow players to resize the interior. For example, a small house could have the interior of a large mansion and retain the same exterior appearance.
However, features like Beastmaster and other Ultimate Raid are unlikely to appear in patch 7.4. All in all, Final Fantasy 14 players looking for more news on the future of the game should keep Halloween in mind.
